on the GAD, Hydraulics Report, Materials Report, and Bridge <br /> Type Selection Study prepared under Amendment 1. <br /> <br />It is further understood that this SCOPE OF SERVICES and <br />fixed price includes the design and coordination work for <br />the addition of the auxiliary lanes on 1-580 described in <br />the BACKGROUND section of this SCOPE OF SERVICES and does <br />not include any work or costs associated with providing ad- <br />ditional lanes beyond those noted. <br /> <br /> It is also understood that auxiliary lane widening will be <br /> contained within the existing right-of-way using fill slopes <br /> and/or standard Caltrans retaining walls. <br /> <br />The CONSULTANT shall advance the design of the Ultimate <br />Interchange as defined by the GAD to approximately the <br />30 percent complete level prior to commencing development of <br />the final design of the Interim Interchange. The Interim <br />Interchange configuration will not preclude the future <br />development of the Ultimate Interchange geometrics. <br /> <br />Task 2-2.1.: Constru~.t.ion Drawings <br /> <br />Perform design calculations regarding alignment, profile, <br />superelevation, grading, traffic signals, lighting, and <br />bridge design and others that may be required. Prepare ink <br />on mylar plans on standard Caltrans format sheets to show <br />the project features, including layout, profiles, sections, <br />and details. Prepare drawings including: <br /> <br /> Title Sheet <br /> Typical Cross-Sections <br /> Key Map and Line Index <br /> Construction Survey Staking <br /> Layout Plans (Interim Interchange and Auxiliary Lanes) <br /> Profiles and Superelevations <br /> Construction Details <br /> Pavement Elevations and Contour Grading <br /> Drainage Plans and Profiles <br /> Drainage Details <br /> Quantity Lists <br /> Utility Plans <br /> Signing and Striping Plans <br /> Signal, Lighting, and Electrical Plans <br /> Construction Traffic Control <br /> Construction Detours <br /> Bridge and Structure Plans <br /> <br />The above list of plans is based upon current Caltrans for- <br />mat and requirements at the time of execution of this AMEND- <br />MENT. Changes to these requirements by Caltrans may be cause <br />for extra work and/or may require changes in the scope of <br />work and corresponding fee modifications.
