When absence
is for more than eight (8) hours, the employee may be
required to file a physician's certificate or a person-
al affidavit with the personnel officer stating the
cause of the absence.

6.6 Administrative Leave

On July 1st of each year, each management employee,
except fire battalion chiefs, shall be credited with
seven (7) days administrative leave to be observed
during the fiscal year. On December 31st of each year,
employees may elect to be paid for up to 3-1/2 days of
said leave. On June 30 of each year, each employee
· will be paid for all unused administrative leave.
