due 10 days prior to the first use. Use includes auditions, rehearsals <br /> and prep days. <br /> <br /> 6. Base Rental Fee - Due 10 days prior to the first use or as specified in <br /> contract. The percentage payment, if applicable, is due 10 days after <br /> the final performance and is to be submitted with the Amador Theater <br /> Fiscal Report. <br /> <br /> 7. Reservation Cancellation - Cancellations 90 days or more prior to first <br /> date reserved will incur a $50 fee. Cancellations less than 90 days <br /> prior to first date reserved will incur forfeit of rental deposit. <br /> <br /> 8. Access To Building - Arrangements for access will be confirmed with <br /> completed contract. Applicants may not enter facility early or leave <br /> facility late. <br /> <br /> 9. Security Personnel - When security personnel are required by the <br /> Department of Parks and Community Services or the Pleasanton Unified <br /> School District, the cost of this service shall be paid by the lessee. <br /> <br /> 10. Holidays - Facilities will generally not be available on Thanksgiving <br /> Day, Christmas Day, New Years Day, or Easter Sunday. On other holidays <br /> an additional fee may be charged. <br /> <br /> 11. The facility will not be scheduled on an ongoing basis. <br /> <br /> 12. Lessee will be required to pay the hourly rate for times above and beyond <br /> those stated in the Request Form. <br /> <br /> 13. Applications shall be limited to responsible persons or groups. The City <br /> reserves the right to provide forms, applications and documents as may be <br /> necessary to protect the City's interests. All use must be conducted in <br /> an orderly manner. Applicants shall be financially responsible for <br /> personal injuries or property damages arising from any use. <br /> <br /> 14. Permission for use of the Amador Theater will be granted upon the <br /> condition that all rules and regulations as well as all federal, state <br /> and local laws governing the use of said facility will be followed. <br /> Permission may be revoked at any time for failure to do so. <br /> <br /> 15. In accordance with the General Policy of the City of Pleasanton, Amador <br /> Theater facilities shall not be granted to: <br /> <br /> A. Persons, groups, associations, clubs or organizations desiring use <br /> for "private gain" which term is defined and used herein to mean use <br /> for the principal purpose of making a profit not pledged to be <br /> devoted to public or welfare uses. <br /> <br /> B. Any party or organization, political or otherwise, that advocates <br /> the overthrow of the government of the United States or of the State <br /> of California by force or violence or other unlawful means. <br /> <br /> GENERAL RULES AND REGULATIONS <br /> <br />1. Permits will be issued only to responsible adults, 21 years of age and <br /> older. There must be at least one adult present supervising each 10 <br /> minors in any group using the facility. <br /> <br />2. No food or drink is allowed in the facility, with the exception of the <br /> lobby area. All food items must be cleared for use in writing by the <br /> Department of Parks and Community Services. <br /> <br /> <br />
