ADDliCatiOn Submittal Period - Sponsored or approved Pleasanton or Valley <br /> cultural non-profit organizations whose primary focus is in the <br /> performing arts may reserve the facility no more than one performance <br /> season in advance. A performance season is from September 1 through <br /> August 31. Requests will be accepted beginning SEPTEMBER 1 for the <br /> performance season beginning the FOLLOWING September. All others may <br /> schedule no more than 9 months in advance. Applications may not be <br /> accepted if received less than one month prior to first use. <br /> <br />2. ADDliCatiOn Procedure - The Amador Theater Request Form for use of the <br /> facility shall be completed to the fullest extent possible. Submittal of <br /> a completed form and a deposit check is required prior to consideration <br /> by the Department. Telephone reservations are not accepted. The <br /> reservation is not confirmed until a contract has been fully executed and <br /> signed by the Department. All contracts shall bear the signature of an <br /> adult (21 years of age or older) who is a duly authorized representative <br /> of the organization or is a responsible lessee. You will be mailed a <br /> copy of the completed contract. <br /> <br />3. Rental Deposit - A rental deposit will be required upon applying and the <br /> balance paid as agreed to in contract. Said deposit will be $200 or 10% <br /> of total rental, whichever is greater. All checks shall be made payable <br /> to the CITY OF PLEASANTON. A deposit, as stated in contract, is required <br /> to secure a reservation unless said deposit is waived by the Department <br /> of Parks and Community Services. Once the facility rental begins the <br /> Rental Deposit will then be used as the Cleaning Deposit listed below. <br /> <br />4. Cleanina DeDosit - A cleaning deposit of $200 or 10% of the total rental, <br /> whichever is greater, is required for all building reservations. <br /> Deposits will be returned by mail if the building is left in a <br /> satisfactory condition. Please allow a minimum of two weeks. If the <br /> facility is found to be in unsatisfactory condition (i.e. not in the same <br /> condition that it was in prior to the use) the cleaning deposit or a <br /> portion thereof will be forfeited. This deposit may also be waived by <br /> the Department of Parks and Community Services. <br /> <br />5. Insurance - All applicants shall provide the City of Pleasanton with a <br /> valid Certificate of Liability Insurance written through carriers <br /> acceptable to the City of Pleasanton. Such certificate shall provide <br /> Bodily Injury and Property Damage Liability protection with a minimum <br /> $1,000,000 coverage. The Certificate of Insurance shall name the City of <br /> Pleasanton and the Pleasanton Unified School District and their agents as <br /> additional insured in conformance with the Hold Harmless Agreement as <br /> outlined in the Amador Theater Contract.
