architectural plan submitted under this Section accords with the <br />architectural plan as approved by the Board. <br />Sec. 2-2.3408 - EVALUATION AND CRITERIA <br />The Board of Design Review shall examine the materials <br />submitted with the application by considering the following <br />aspects for conformance with the purpose of this Article: <br />(a) General site utilization considerations; <br />(b) General architectural considerations: <br />(1) Height, bulk, and area of buildings; <br />(2) Colors and types of building and installations; <br />(3) Physical and architectural relationship between <br />the proposed structures and the existing built <br />context; <br />(4) Site layout, orientation and location of <br />buildings and relationship with open areas and <br />topography; <br />(5) Height, materials, colors, and variations in <br />boundary walls, fences or screen planting; <br />(6) Location and type of landscaping including but <br />not limited to off-street parking areas; <br />(7) Appropriateness of sign design and exterior <br />lighting; <br />(c) General landscape considerations; <br />(d) Graphics. <br />The Board shall be guided in their review of <br />improvements within the District by the adopted Downtown <br />Pleasanton Design Guidelines. <br />- 9 - <br />
