2.36.032 <br />City Council has approved such action. <br />(Ord. 1674 § 3, 1996; Ord. 1619 § 1, <br />1994; Ord. 1298 § 4, 1987) <br />2.36.035 Appeal From Housing <br />Commission Decisions: <br />A. Action Memorandum: Within ten <br />(10) calendar days from the date of any <br />Housing Commission meeting, the Di- <br />rector shall, if directed by the City <br />Council or the Board of Directors, pro- <br />vide each Boardmember with an action <br />memorandum identifying each formal <br />action taken by the Commission and the <br />vote thereon. <br />B. Who Can Appeal: Any interested <br />person, including any tenant of the <br />Housing Authority, any City Council- <br />member, any member of the Board of <br />Directors, any Housing Commissioner <br />and the Executive Director, may appeal <br />a decision of the Housing Commission. <br />C. Time Limit: All decisions of the <br />Housing Commission shall become fi- <br />nal unless appealed within fifteen (15) <br />calendar days from the date of Com- <br />mission action. <br />D. Form Of Appeal: Each appeal <br />shall be submitted in writing to the <br />Executive Director and shall state the <br />name and address of the appellant. <br />Each appeal shall specifically identify <br />the Commission decision being ap- <br />pealed and shall include an alternate <br />decision proposed by the appellant. The <br />appeal may include a statement of <br />reasons in support of the appeal. <br />E. Board Of Directors' Review: <br />1. Upon receipt of an appeal, and <br />enough additional information for the <br />Board to adequately review the Com- <br />mission's decision, the chairman of the <br />Board of Directors shall call a special <br />meeting of the Board of Directors. <br />Normally the special meeting shall be <br />scheduled to coincide with a regularly <br />scheduled City Council meeting. <br />2. The Executive Director shall as- <br />sure that adequate notice is given to the <br />press in accordance with subsection <br />2.36.070C of this Chapter. <br />3. The Executive Director shall pro- <br />vide the appellant with notice of the <br />time and place designated for the spe- <br />cial meeting and a copy of public agen- <br />da materials relating to the appeal. <br />F. Board Action: <br />1. The Board may affirm, reverse or <br />modify the decision of the Commission. <br />2. The decision of the Board shall <br />take effect immediately. (Ord. 1619 <br />§ 1, 1994; Ord. 1304 §§ 1, 2, 1987; <br />Ord. 1298 § 5, 1987) <br />2.36.040 Maintenance Of <br />Membership: <br />Persons appointed to the Housing <br />Commission shall continue to serve as <br />Commissioners until: <br />A. Expiration of the term; <br />B. Voluntary resignation from the <br />Commission; <br />C. The member is absent from one- <br />third (t/3) of the regular meetings as <br />provided in Section 2.32.090 of this <br />Title. <br />D. Removal from the office in accor- <br />dance with Health and Safety Code <br />section 34282 by the Mayor.
