2.36.032 City Council has approved such action. (Ord. 1674 § 3, 1996; Ord. 1619 § 1, 1994; Ord. 1298 § 4, 1987) 2.36.035 Appeal From Housing Commission Decisions: A. Action Memorandum: Within ten (10) calendar days from the date of any Housing Commission meeting, the Di- rector shall, if directed by the City Council or the Board of Directors, pro- vide each Boardmember with an action memorandum identifying each formal action taken by the Commission and the vote thereon. B. Who Can Appeal: Any interested person, including any tenant of the Housing Authority, any City Council- member, any member of the Board of Directors, any Housing Commissioner and the Executive Director, may appeal a decision of the Housing Commission. C. Time Limit: All decisions of the Housing Commission shall become fi- nal unless appealed within fifteen (15) calendar days from the date of Com- mission action. D. Form Of Appeal: Each appeal shall be submitted in writing to the Executive Director and shall state the name and address of the appellant. Each appeal shall specifically identify the Commission decision being ap- pealed and shall include an alternate decision proposed by the appellant. The appeal may include a statement of reasons in support of the appeal. E. Board Of Directors' Review: 1. Upon receipt of an appeal, and enough additional information for the Board to adequately review the Com- mission's decision, the chairman of the Board of Directors shall call a special meeting of the Board of Directors. Normally the special meeting shall be scheduled to coincide with a regularly scheduled City Council meeting. 2. The Executive Director shall as- sure that adequate notice is given to the press in accordance with subsection 2.36.070C of this Chapter. 3. The Executive Director shall pro- vide the appellant with notice of the time and place designated for the spe- cial meeting and a copy of public agen- da materials relating to the appeal. F. Board Action: 1. The Board may affirm, reverse or modify the decision of the Commission. 2. The decision of the Board shall take effect immediately. Expiration of the term; B. Voluntary resignation from the Commission; C. The member is absent from one- third (t/3) of the regular meetings as provided in Section 2.32.090 of this Title. D. Removal from the office in accor- dance with Health and Safety Code section 34282 by the Mayor.
