11.38.070 <br />B. Upon the relocation of the permit- <br />tee from his or her residence within a <br />residential pazking area to another <br />residence, whether within or outside <br />said zone. <br />C. Upon expiration of the time peri- <br />od for which a permit has been issued. <br />(Ord. 1376 § 1, 1988) <br />11.38.080 Posting Of Residential <br />Permit Parking Zone: <br />Upon the adoption of a resolution by <br />the council designating a residential <br />permit pazking zone and appropriate <br />pazking time restrictions, the city man- <br />ager shall order appropriate signs to be <br />erected in such azea indicating promi- <br />nently thereon the time limitation, day <br />or days, and hours during which pazk- <br />ing shall be restricted. (Ord. 1931 § 1, <br />2006; Ord. 1376 § 1, 1988) <br />11.38.090 Violations: <br />A. It is unlawful and a violation of <br />this chapter, unless expressly provided <br />to the contrary in this chapter, for any <br />person to park a motor vehicle on a <br />street in a residential permit pazking <br />zone in excess of the pazking time limit <br />posted by signs giving notice thereof <br />and erected pursuant to this chapter, <br />without a valid residential pazking <br />permit for that zone properly affixed to <br />such vehicle. <br />B. It is unlawful and a violation of <br />this chapter for a person falsely to <br />represent himself or herself as eligible <br />for a residential pazking permit or a <br />guest permit or to furnish false infor- <br />mation in an application for any such <br />permits. <br />C. It is unlawful and a violation of <br />this chapter for any person to use or <br />display, or permit the use or display of, <br />a residential parking permit or a guest <br />permit or a sticker pertaining thereto on <br />a motor vehicle other than that vehicle <br />for which such permit or sticker was <br />issued. (Ord. 1931 § 1, 2006; Ord. 1376 <br />§ 1, 1988) <br />11.38.100 Exemptions: <br />A. Any motor vehicle on which is <br />displayed a valid residential pazking <br />permit, temporazy permit or sticker per- <br />taining thereto, as provided for in this <br />chapter may be parked on a street in <br />the residential permit pazking zone <br />pertaining thereto without limitation of <br />the time restrictions established by the <br />council under section 11.38.080 of this <br />chapter. Such pazking permit shall not <br />guarantee or reserve the holder thereof <br />an on street pazking space on a street in <br />such residential permit parking zone or <br />exempt the vehicle from any other <br />restrictions, ordinances or codes. <br />B. This chapter does not apply to <br />ambulances, fire department vehicles, <br />police vehicles, public utility vehicles <br />or other official or emergency vehicles <br />while conducting official business <br />which have an official seal or logo <br />identifying them as such. <br />C. Clearly marked vehicles with <br />commercial license plates parked for <br />the purpose of loading or delivery of <br />goods, wazes or merchandise from or to <br />any building or structure in a residen- <br />274C (Pleasanton June 2006) <br />
