Page VI-24 Commissioner Fox believed the wording "a developer should pay its fair shaze for the development and use of municipal facilities" addressed capital improvements and financing. Because the City was near buildout, that may not be relevant to future issues. She believed that a policy should be addressed where a sustainable ability to improve and maintain facilities with that developer money. Paee VI-27 Commissioner Blank noted that Policy 6.10 referenced the hundred-year flood and would like to see a mention of public awareness. Commissioner Fox believed that Zone 7 and passive recreation should be a stated goal for the Chain of Lakes and the arroyos. Paee VI-30 ~ Commissioner Fox noted that references to elementary schools having a limit of 650 students had been deleted and that the language, "encourage elementary school enrollment sizes to maintain neighborhood chazacter," had been inserted. She inquired why the 650 number had been deleted and would like to keep it in the document. There was no objection from the Commissioners. Commissioner Fox noted that with respect to educational facilities, the following language should be added: "to encourage and support high quality of public and non-public educational facilities." The Commissioners concurred with that suggestion. Pace VI-32 (second instance) Chairperson Arkin noted that with respect to Policy 16.8, there should be a neighborhood pazk in South Pleasanton. No action was taken. c.
