Commissioner Fox advised that the sentence on the fourth full paragraph on page 17 be <br />modified to read as follows: "Commissioner Fox did not support the gas station and <br />suggested moving the structure 100 feet over, creating a greenbelt buffer between the <br />center and the synagogue, similar to the separation between Trinity Lutheran Church and <br />the surrounding neighborhood. " <br />Commissioner Fox noted that with respect to the sentence on the second pazagraph on <br />page 1 under "Approval of Minutes," she did not recall the Commission concurring with <br />six animals being allowed to be grandfathered in. She suggested that the sentence be <br />modified as follows: "Commissioner Fox's concern was six chickens being allowed and <br />also believed the existing chickens in Pleasanton should be grandfathered in. " <br />Commissioner Maas noted that the sentence under "Adjournment" be modified to reflect <br />that Chairperson Arkin, not Chairperson Maas, adjourned the meeting. <br />Comrissioner Peazce advised the sentence on the fourth pazagraph on page 11 should be <br />modified to read as follows: "Commissioner ge~ee-Roberts advised that she had also <br />met with Mr. Knoedler." <br />The minutes were approved as corrected. <br />3. MEETING OPEN FOR ANY MEMBER OF THE AUDIENCE TO <br />ADDRESS THE PLANNING COMMISSION ON ANY ITEM WHICH IS <br />NOT ALREADY ON THE AGENDA. <br />There were none. <br />4. REVISIONS AND OMISSIONS TO THE AGENDA <br />Ms. Decker advised that the applicants for.Item 8.e., PUD-49, Silverstone Communities, <br />had requested that their item be heard last by the Commission. <br />5. MATTERS CONTINUED FOR DECISION <br />There were none. <br />6. PUBLIC HEARINGS AND OTHER MATTERS <br />a. PDR-494, RHL Desi¢n Grouu <br />Application for design review approval to repaint and modify the fagade of the <br />McDonald's Restaurant building located at 6800 Santa Rita Road. Zoning for the <br />property is PUD-C (Planned Unit Development -Commercial) District. <br />Ms. Decker summarized the staff report and detailed the background and scope of the <br />project. Staff believes the proposed renovation would enhance the existing visual <br />exposure of this location since it is a gateway into the community.
