Community of Character <br />Commissioner Kinzer advised that there had been two (2) meetings, at which the group established by- <br />laws, etc. for its non-profit status. The next step is to establish a Board of Directors, and he had been <br />asked to become a member. A workshop is planned for Apri123, 2007 and a luncheon at the Pleasanton <br />Hilton on June 7, 2007 <br />B. East Bay Regional Park District/City Liaison Committee <br />No report. <br />C. Heritage Tree Review <br />No report. <br />D. Sports Council <br />Commissioner Kinzer indicated that the Sports Council met on February 5, to discuss the spring season <br />and the opening of fields. The group is anxious to maximize all-weather turf opportunities, and the <br />baseball leagues would like the Commission to consider grass fields for baseball fields. Commissioner <br />Kinzer advised that there had been some discussion regarding whether a light switch could be installed at <br />Upper Bernal Field. <br />E.
