Vice-Chairperson Kummer advised that at the February meeting, the Trails Ad Hoc Committee discussed <br />the trail connection at Corte Monterey, and the possibility of Zone 7 allowing access which would enable <br />people to walk from Dublin to the Bernal property. The Committee also discussed the upcoming Earth <br />Day event. <br />At the March meeting, the Committee listened to a presentation by Zone 7 regarding its Stream <br />Management Implementation Plan (SMIP), and how the agency was willing to work with other entities. <br />He advised that the Committee's trail walks have been popular, and included participants from the <br />Planning and Parks and Recreation commissions, and the City Council. <br />F. Youth Master Plan Implementation Committee <br />No report. <br />10. MATTERS INITIATED BY MEMBERS OF THE COMMISSION AND STAFF <br />a) Commissioner Pentin advised that the contractor for the Kottinger Place Housing project had shown <br />scenarios to the Task Force that included reducing the size of the park. He advised that he felt the <br />Commission would have concerns regarding that recommendation. <br />b) Commissioner Dibiase was advised by Mr. Wolfe that the Alviso Adobe project was out to bid, with <br />bids due by the middle of May, 2007. <br />c) Vice-Chairperson Kummer discussed with staff the lack of applications to fill commission vacancies. <br />Commissioners Pentin and Dibiase indicated they may have a couple of prospects. <br />11.
