Vice-Chairperson Kummer advised that at the February meeting, the Trails Ad Hoc Committee discussed the trail connection at Corte Monterey, and the possibility of Zone 7 allowing access which would enable people to walk from Dublin to the Bernal property. The Committee also discussed the upcoming Earth Day event. At the March meeting, the Committee listened to a presentation by Zone 7 regarding its Stream Management Implementation Plan (SMIP), and how the agency was willing to work with other entities. He advised that the Committee's trail walks have been popular, and included participants from the Planning and Parks and Recreation commissions, and the City Council. F. Youth Master Plan Implementation Committee No report. 10. MATTERS INITIATED BY MEMBERS OF THE COMMISSION AND STAFF a) Commissioner Pentin advised that the contractor for the Kottinger Place Housing project had shown scenarios to the Task Force that included reducing the size of the park. He advised that he felt the Commission would have concerns regarding that recommendation. b) Commissioner Dibiase was advised by Mr. Wolfe that the Alviso Adobe project was out to bid, with bids due by the middle of May, 2007. c) Vice-Chairperson Kummer discussed with staff the lack of applications to fill commission vacancies. Commissioners Pentin and Dibiase indicated they may have a couple of prospects. 11.
