Posted Speed- The posted speed limit for this segment is 40 mph. <br />2. Physical Conditions- The length of this segment is approximately 5,900 ft. (1.12 mile). <br />The 21ane undivided roadway is comprised of moderate horizontal curves. Parking is prohibited <br />within this segment. Drainage swails exist just beyond the edge of roadway, but the six foot <br />bicycle lanes provide a shoulder for emergency stops. There are several gated access driveways <br />along the north edge of the roadway. Land use is proposed low density residential which is <br />currently partially developed. Residential areas are/will back up to the roadway, but no direct <br />access from driveways are planned. Six intersections exist along this segment which are stop <br />sign controlled on the minor leg only. Sight distance at each of these intersections is adequate <br />and left turn and right turn pockets exist to move the turning vehicles out of the through lanes of <br />traffic.
