SECTION 3 - PRANCHISE <br />3.1 Pursuant to the provisions of Section 9,20,020, General <br />Provisions, of the City of Pleasanton Municipal Code, Collector <br />is hereby granted the exclusive right to provide regularly- <br />scheduled pick-up for the collection, transport and disposal of <br />refuse produced and accumulated within the limits of the City <br />from all residential, commercial, and industrial units requiring <br />such service, However, every owner or person in possession of <br />any building or structure for which refuse removal is required, <br />shall have the right to remove the same, but it is unlawful for <br />any person to regularly remove garbage for more than one <br />residential unit, as defined herein, Any person who regularly <br />moves any refuse over any of the streets of the City must first <br />obtain the appropriate permits as required by Section 9,20.040 of <br />the City of Pleasanton Municipal Code, <br />3.2 Collector shall maintain during the term of this <br />Agreement a contract with a landfill operator for the disposal of <br />refuse from the transfer station, City agrees to cooperate with <br />Collector to maintain such a contract in force, <br />3.3 Collector agrees to cooperate with City to develop a <br />recycling program in accordance with federal, state or local <br />legislation, <br />SECTION 4 - WORK TO BE DONE <br />The work to be done under this Agreement shall include the <br />3. <br />
