as defined in Chapter 18.48 of the City of Pleasanton <br />Municipal Code. <br />C. Residential Unit - Means any occupied premises having <br />bathroom or toilet, and kitchen plumbing facilities, <br />suitable for residential occupancy by a number of persons <br />living together as a single family, including single-family <br />dwellings, and each group of occupied rooms constituting <br />living quarters for a single family in any duplex, triplex, <br />apartment, court or other multiple dwelling structure, but <br />excluding any living or sleeping quarters in hotels, <br />apartments, rooming houses, motels, or auto courts where <br />kitchen facilities are not provided. <br />D. Refuse - Means any putrescible and non-putrescible, <br />combustible, non-combustible solid wastes, including, but <br />not limited to, animal and vegetable waste resulting from <br />the preparation, cooking and consumption of food, garbage, <br />rubbish, ashes, street cleaning, solid market and industrial <br />wastes, paper wrappings, cigarettes, cardboard, tin cans, <br />yard clippings, leaves, wood, glass, bedding, crockery and <br />similar materials. Refuse shall exclude any hazardous or <br />toxic materials as may be established by the Collector, or <br />local, state or federal authorities from time to time. <br />E. City Manager - Shall mean the City of Pleasanton City <br />Manager or his authorized designee. <br />2 <br />
