authorize removal of any vehicle from service if said vehicle is <br />found to be in non-conformance with the City of Pleasanton <br />Municipal Code or the California Vehicle Code. Vehicles shall <br />not be returned to service until they are in compliance with the <br />appropriate provisions of the California Vehicle Code and the <br />City of Pleasanton Municipal Code. <br />SECTION 11 - REFUSE CONTAINERS <br />11.1 All refuse containers shall be replaced, upright, <br />with the lids immediately on the containers. Containers and lids <br />shall not be placed or thrown on the streets, alleys, highways, <br />or on adjoining property. <br />11.2 On a schedule to be established by the Collector, <br />and in areas of the community deemed appropriate by the <br />Collector, the Collector will provide (90) gallon refuse <br />containers equipped with wheels and attachable lids to be used <br />for the mechanical dumping of refuse. Unless otherwise <br />authorized by the Pleasanton City Council, Collector shall not <br />charge any separate rental fees for the containers. Collector <br />shall replace containers that have been damaged due to normal <br />wear and tear or accident. Collector shall not charge for <br />replacement of any 90-gallon container which has been damaged as <br />a result of ordinary wear and tear. However, Collector may <br />charge for the replacement or repair of any 90-gallon container <br />when damage resulted from abuse or accidents not related to the <br />10. <br />
