Wilson, the developer, was present and spoke regarding his application. <br />He also stated that the homes would range in pFice between $25,000 and $30,000. <br />It would not be possible, as suggested by Commissioner Gibbs, to intersperse <br />lower priced homes with the more expensive homes. <br />Comments were made by Mr. Herb Nobriga regarding a setback between the dwelling <br />areas and the park areas. Mr. Alan Campbell, Public Works Director, clarified <br />this by stating the area. may be good for a park, but that it does not, so far, <br />hold any historical significance. <br />Mr. George Spiliotopoulos, City Councilmen, and also President of the local <br />historical society, spoke in favor of the park site hoping to turn it into a <br />historical site along the lines of a museum to contain artifacts relating to <br />the early history of the Dublin, Livermore and Pleasanton areas. Mr. Spiliotoppulos, <br />spoke in favor of Plan A. <br />Upon motion of Commissioner Antonini, seconded by Commissioner Carrigan, and <br />carried, the following resolution was offered: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 879 <br />WHEREAS, the application of MacKay ~ Somps far approval <br />of Tentative Tract Map X2855, Costanzo-Rilson, <br />has come before this Commission, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that approval of said tentative ma,p <br />be given on Alternate B, subject to the following <br />conditions: <br />1. That the property line radius of the corners at <br />the intersection of Avenue G and Santa. Rita Road <br />be increased to 40 ft. <br />2. That access to Lot ~1 be denied from the Santa <br />Rita. frontage and from the first 50 ft., measured <br />from the curb return, of the Avenue G frontage. <br />3. That access to Lot ~k2 be denied from the first <br />100 ft., measured from the curb return on Santa <br />Rita Road and the first 50 ft. on Avenue G. <br />4. That street names that have been set by existing <br />or proposed streets on adjacent developments or <br />otherwise firmly established be continued in this <br />tract and that developer submit a list of proposed <br />street names for the remaining streets for approval <br />by the Planning Director prior to submittal of a <br />final map. <br />5. That approval of the sanitary sewer system be <br />withheld until the developer has demonstrated to <br />the satisfaction of the City Engineer that the <br />proposed system is adequate for the service area. <br />and generally meets the immediate and long-range <br />requirements of the sanitary sewer system in this <br />and all tributary areas. <br />6. That approval of the water supply and distribution <br />system be withheld until the developer has demon- <br />strated to the satisfaction of the City Engineer <br />that the proposed system meets both the immediate <br />and long-range requirements for supplying water in <br />this area. <br />- 5 - <br />
