<br />Application of the Planning Commission for an amendment to Zoning Ordinance
<br />No. 520 regarding Article 20, Temporary Uses.
<br />Chairman Plato opened the Public Hearing. It was requested again by the
<br />Commissioners to postpone the hearing on this item to permit additional time
<br />for study.
<br />Upon motion of Commissioner Antonini, seconded by Chairman Plato, and carried, the
<br />Public Hearing was closed.
<br />Upon motion of Commissioner Antonini, seconded by Chairman Plato, and carried,
<br />the following resolution was adopted unanimously.
<br />RESOLUTION NO. 899
<br />WHEREAS, the application of the Planning Commission for an
<br />amendment to Zoning Ordinance No. 520 regarding
<br />Article 20, Temporary Usea, has come before this
<br />Commission,
<br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Planning Commission
<br />of the City of Pleasanton hereby continues said
<br />item to the meeting of June 11, 1969, to permit
<br />additional time for study.
<br />c. Article 2, Sec. 2.102a, Front Yard Setbacks
<br />Application of the Planning Commission for an amendment to Zoning Ordinance
<br />No. 520 regarding Article 2, Sec. 2.102a, Front Yard Setbacks.
<br />Chairman Plato opened the Public Hearing. Once again, the Commissioner requested
<br />additional time to consider this item, as the agenda was heavy for that meeting.
<br />Upon motion of Commissioner Antonini, seconded by Chairman Plato, and carried,
<br />the Public Hearing was closed.

<br />the following resolution was adopted unanimously.

<br />WHEREAS, the application of the Planning Commission for
<br />an amendment to Zoning Ordinance No. 520 to amend
<br />Article 2, Section 2.102a, Front Yard Setbacks,
<br />has come before this Commission,
<br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that pending additional time
<br />for study, the Planning Commission continues said
<br />item to June 11, 1969.
<br />d. Z-69-38, Fred Hanscom
<br />Application to allow the operation of a fix-it shop to engage in the parts, service
<br />and sale of lawnmowers, pumps, motors, heaters, small appliances and any other
<br />products and/or service related at that address known as 608 Main Street,
<br />Pleasanton, in a C-C District.
<br />Chairman Plato opened the Public Hearing. Mr. Castro stated that since the
<br />report was sent out to the Commissioners, advices had been received that Mrs. Hope
<br />Noland will be vacating the premises shortly, thereby eliminating the problem
<br />of three tenants on the same premises.
<br />Mr. Fred Hanscom, the applicant, was present and spoke, requesting an amendment
<br />to his application to include bicycle repair, and some small soldering, but no
<br />welding.- There was some discussion, regarding the lease situation and the
<br />time left before its expiration.
