' ,-- ~
The cost analysis for on-site improvements alone came up to $124,000.
There was question whether Rinker Development Company is in fact purchasing the
entire site, and not just the site for the service station. Mr. Alan Cotton,
representative of San Ramon Village Company, verified that Rinker is indeed
purchasing the entire site.
Upon motion of Commissioner Gibbs, seconded by Commissioner Antonini, and
carried, the Public Hearing was closed.
Commissioner Gibbs felt that to be consistent, after requesting direction from
the Planning staff in the form of a service station study, does not feel the
Co~iesion can take action at this time.
Considerable discussion ensued between the Commissioners and the staff.
Upon motion of Co®issioner Arnold, seconded by Commissioner Carrigan, and carried,
the following resolution was adopted unanimously.
RESOLUTION N0. 897
WHEREAS, the application of Rinker Development Company
for the construction and operation of a service
station on the southeast corner of Hopyard Road and
Interstate #580, containing .64 acres, more or less,
in a C-F (Commercial Freeway) District, has come
before this Commission,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that UP-69-9 be approved, subject
to the conditions:
1. That the total complex be substantially
constructed as shown on Exhibit A.
2. That trailer rentals, auto towing facilities
and equipment and other nonrelated services
shall be prohibited on said premises. Said
condition is hereby applicable to the property
owner and to the lessee of said property.
6. NEW BUSINESS-PUBLIC HEARINGS.
a. Article 13, Planned Unit Development
Application of the Planning Commission for an amendment to Zoning Ordinance
No. 520 regarding Article 13, PUD. Planned Unit Development.
Chairman Plato opened the Public Hearing. It was felt by the Commission as a
whole that they required more time to study this report.
Upon motion of Commissioner Antonini, seconded by Chairman Plato, and carried,
the following resolution was adopted.
RESOLUTION N0. 898
WHEREAS, the application of the Planning Commission for
an amendment to Zoning Ordinance No. 520 regarding
Article 13, PUD. Planned Unit Development, has
come before this Commission,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that pending additional time for
more study of said report as presented by the
Planning Department, this item be continued to the
meeting of June 11, 1969.
- 3 -
