Article 2, Sec. 2.102a <br />Application of the Planning Commission for an amendment to Zoning Ordinance No.520 <br />regarding Sec. 2.102a, regarding front yard setbacks (Public Nearing continued <br />from June 11, 1969). <br />Chairman Garrigan opened the Public Nearing. Exhibits were demonstrated on the <br />blackboard to show the different types of setbacks. Photographs were also passed <br />out to the Commissioners. <br />There was considerable discussion between the Planning Director, the City Attorney and <br />the Commissioners. <br />Messrs. Ted Fairfield and Jack Bras also voiced their opinions regarding this <br />proposed setback amendment. <br />Upon motion of Chairman Garrigan, seconded by Commissioner Pona, and carried, the <br />Public Hearing was closed. <br />In the discussion between the Commissioners, reference regarding the City Attorney's <br />memorandum dated June 19, concerned the various items on it. Items 1, 2 and 3 <br />were in order. However, under No. 4, Subsection d. (i) - this needed to be <br />added in order to clarify setbacks for the multiple dwellings. <br />Upon motion of Commissioner Pons, seconded by Chairman Garrigan, and carried, <br />the following reaolutton was adopted unanimously. <br />RESOLUTION N0. 919 <br />WHEREAS, the application of the Planning Commission for <br />amendments to Zoning Ordinance No. 520 regarding <br />Sec. 2.100 and 2.102a, regarding frontyard <br />setbacks, has come before this Commission, <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that Article 2, Sec. 2.100 and <br />2.102 (a) be amended as per City Attorney's <br />direction, also thaC Sec. 2.102 (d) (i) be added <br />for purposes of clarification of said article, <br />said amendment also shall be as per directive <br />offered by the City Attorney. <br />c. Article 13, Planned Unit Develooment <br />Application of the Planning Commission for an amendment to Zoning Ordinance <br />No. 520 regarding Article 13, P.U.D. (Planned Unit Development). Public <br />Hearing continued from June 11, 1969. <br />Chairman Garrigan opened the Public Hearing. The Planning Director stated <br />there were no further comments to add to the memorandums which have been prepared <br />by the City Attorney. <br />Mr. Ted Fairfield was in the audience that stated that he concurred with the <br />report and that the process, if amended, would put the subdivision and the PUD <br />process in unison. He stated he would-like to suggest that the preliminary <br />hearing before the City Council be eliminated to save time. <br />There being no further discussion, upon motion of Commissioner Pereira, seconded <br />by Commissioner Pons and carried, the Public Hearing was closed. <br />RESOLUTION N0. 920 <br />WHEREAS, the application of the Planning Commission for <br />an amendment to Zoning Ordinance No. 520 regarding <br />Article 13, PUD, Planned Unit Development, has <br />come before this Commission, <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Planning Commission of the <br />City of Pleasanton hereby recommends the amendments <br />as offered by the City Attorney in regard to <br />Article 13, PUD, Planned Unit Development of Zoning <br />Ordinance No. 520. <br />- 3 - <br />
