<br />_., <br />The Cammisaioners varied between delaying action until the service station study <br />was completed, and approving the application at this time. It was determined <br />eventually to approve the application based on the recommendations made in the <br />staff report. <br />Upon motion of Commissioner Pereira, seconded by Commissioner Gibbs, and carried, <br />the following resolution was offered: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 918 <br />A resolution of the Planing Commission of the <br />City of Pleasanton recommending to the City <br />Council the granting of Zone Amendment RZ-69-5, <br />filed by Spivak-Bollinger Development Company. <br />WHSRSAS, the Planing Commission of the City of <br />Pleasanton has considered Zone Amendment <br />Petition RZ-69-5, filed by Spivak-Bollinger <br />Development Company to amend Zoning Ordinance <br />No. 520 by rezoning from the A (Agricultural) <br />District to the C-F (Commercial Freeway) District <br />that property described as follows: <br />Parcel 15, Block 1100 <br />Assessor's Map Book 946, containing <br />1.37 acres, more or less, and bounded <br />by Santa Rita Road and Tassa,jara Road <br />WHEREAS, said Co®iesion has held a Public Hearing on this <br />petition and has examined the pertinent maps, drawings <br />and documents and finds that one or more of the <br />following conditions do exist: <br />1. That the proposed amendment will not be contrary <br />to the spirit and intent of the General Plan, <br />2, That the proposed amendment is in the public <br />interest and general welfare, <br />3. That the proposed amendment creates a more <br />equitable condition for the community than now <br />prevails. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Planing Commission of the <br />City of Pleasanton hereby recommends to City Council <br />the approval of said zone change from the A (Agri- <br />cultural) District to the C-F (Commercial Freeway) <br />District as petitioned. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Planing Commission of the City of <br />Pleasanton on the 25th day of June, 1969, by the <br />following vote: <br />Ayes: Commissioner Antonini <br />Commissioner Gibbs <br />Commissioner Pereira <br />Commissioner Pons <br />Chairmen Garrigan <br />Noes: <br />Absent: <br />Attest: Secretary Castro <br />- 2 - <br />
