Suivak-Bollinger Develooment Comvanv
Application to rezone from an A (Agricultural) District to a C-F (Commercial
Freeway) District that property described as Parcel 15 of Assessor's Map Book
946; Block 1100, containing 1.37 acres, more or less, and bounded by Santa Rita
Road and Tassajara Road (Public Hearing continued from May 14, 1969).
Chairman Garrigan opened the Public Hearing. Based on the study of the Regional
shopping center at Fairlanda, the Planning staff came to the conclusion that
this parcel of land can best serve the City in the C-F District, and that this
particular area, if enlarged, could include a motel, restaurant and perhaps also
a movie theater. It is the applicant's intention to build a service station at
the corner of Santa Rita and Tassajara Road, and following the study on the
regional site and its immediate area an automotive use for this location would
be ideal.
Mr. Ned Robinson, representing the applicant, concurred with this recommendation.
Upon motion of Chairman Garrigan, seconded by Commissioner Pons, and carried,
the Public Hearing was closed.
- 1 -
