NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that pending submittal of the <br />preliminary development plans for that area <br />surrounding Gulfstream Street and the inter- <br />relationship of said circulation patterns <br />with the remainder of the development, the <br />Planning Commission.continues this application <br />to the meeting of September 10, with the <br />applicant's approval. <br />d. UP-69-16, Robo Bav Cities, Inc. <br />Application fora conditional use permit to allow the construction of an auto® tic <br />self-service car wash with gasoline pumps in a C-S District, at 915 Santa Rita <br />Road. <br />Chairman Garrigan opened the Public Hearing. Planning Director Castro advised <br />the Commission that there was one correction to the staff report. The gas pumps <br />will not be self-operated. An attendant will service this phase of the operation <br />during only certain hours of the day, whereas the car-wash will be in operation <br />24 hours a day, seven days a week. <br />Mr. W. B. Francis, President of Robo Bay Cities, Inc., was present and offered <br />some information for the Commission's benefit. <br />The operation is based on an ownership and operation arrangement, with the <br />Pleasanton operation involving an expenditure of approximately $75,000 to $80,000. <br />The operation will also include vacuuming of the automobiles by the driver of <br />the vehicle. With a full tank of gas, the driver receives a free car wash. <br />Gasoline, however, will be sold at a penny more per gallon. <br />Upon motion of Commissioner Pons, seconded by Commissioner Gibbs, and carried, the <br />Public Hearing was closed. <br />Upon motion of Commissioner Pons, seconded by Commissioner Gibbs, and carried, the <br />following resolution was adopted unanimously. <br />RESOLUTION N0. 935 <br />WHEREAS, the application of Robo Bay Cities, Inc., for <br />a conditional use permit to allow the con- <br />struction of an automatic self-service car <br />wash with gasoline pumps in a C-S District, <br />at 915 Santa Rita Road, has come before this <br />Commission, <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Planning Commission hereby <br />approves UP-69-16, subject to the following <br />conditions: <br />1. That the property owner dedicate the necessary <br />right-of-way for widening of Santa Rita Road <br />including the necessary corner radius for the <br />Del Valle Parkway. <br />2. That the property caner participate in the <br />construction of the Del Valle Parkway to the <br />extent required by Ordinance No. 358 and make <br />arrangements for this participation, prior to <br />issuance of a building permit by one of the <br />following: <br />- 5 - <br />
