. ~ .~ <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of <br />Pleasanton has considered General Plan <br />Amendment Petition 69-1, filed by D. & V. <br />Builders, Inc., to amend Sec. 3.102, Zoning <br />Ordinance No. 520 to change the zone district <br />designation from the A (Agricultural) District <br />to the Medium Density Residential District, for <br />that property described as follows: <br />Parcel 1, Assessor's Map Book 946, <br />Block 1250, containing 94.47 acres, <br />more or less, <br />or more commonly known as located on the <br />east side of Santa Rita Road and more commonly <br />known as the Orloff parcel. <br />WHEREAS, said Commission has held a Public Hearing on <br />this petition and has examined the pertinent <br />maps, drawings and documents and finds that <br />one or more of the following conditions do <br />exist: <br />1. That the proposed amendment will not be <br />contrary to the spirit and intent of the <br />General Plan, <br />2. That the proposed amendment is in the <br />public interest and general welfare, <br />3. That the proposed amendment creates a more <br />equitable condition than now prevails in the <br />community. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Planning Commission of the <br />City of Pleasanton hereby recommends to the <br />City Council the approval of said General Plan <br />Amendment 69-1 as petitioned. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Planning Commission of the City of <br />Pleasanton on the 3rd day of September, 1969, <br />by the following vote: <br />Ayes: Commissioners Antonini, Pereira, Pons <br />Chairman Garrigan <br />Noes: <br />Absent: Commissioner Gibbs <br />Abstain: <br />Attest: Secretary Castro <br />c. RZ-69-16, Melvyn Whalin <br />Application to rezone from the R-1-6500 (Single Family) District to the RM-1500 <br />(Multiple Family) District, those properties known as 1162 and 1166 Division <br />Street, Pleasanton, California. <br />Chairman Garrigan opened the Public Hearing. There were no comments other <br />than a possible recommendation to approve the rezoning to the RM-2000 District <br />instead of the RM-1500 District as applied for. Mr. Whalin concurred with this <br />recommendation. <br />- 5 - <br />
