q~Q,kBAN~o~ <br /> <br />CITY of PLEASANTON <br />Planning Commission <br />MINUTES ~OF REGULAR MEETING. <br />Date : December 10, 1969 <br />Time : s:os Pli <br />PIOCe: Pleasanton Justice Court <br />The plans were received too late from the <br />applicant for the staff to make a compre- <br />hensive report on the matter, however, the <br />applicant did bring a rendering to the pub <br />hearing. <br />Both the Planning and Public Works Depart- <br />ments were totally opposed to the entrance <br />of the complex being located on Tassajara <br />Road because of the heavy sand and gravel <br />truck and normal traffic now utilizing <br />Santa Rita Road. <br />After considerable discussion, Mr. Ted <br />Fairfield, representing the applicant, <br />asked whether the Commission would be more <br />disposed to granting the application if <br />the entrance to the complex would be oft <br />Fairlands Drive. The Commissioners' reply <br />was that they would be agreeable to re- <br />considering the matter. <br />It was moved to continue the application <br />to January 14, 1970, to permit the applicant <br />time to submit new drawings. <br />REVIEW OF DUMPSTERS <br />FOR PLEASANTODi <br />GARDENS Pleasanton Gardena, Inc. - reconsideration <br />of garbage canniatera for the center at <br />2a1 Kottinger Avenue <br />Pleasanto <br /> <br />Approved. , <br />n. <br /> Dr. Howard Long, President of the organiza- <br /> tion, was present and spoke in regard to <br /> the matter. An actual garbage can was <br /> presented for visual exhibit. <br /> Three plot plane showing the locations of <br /> the garbage cane and a dumpster area were <br /> shown. It was Dr. Longs feeling that <br /> for the needs of the residents, Solution #2 <br /> would be the best one. <br /> It was the feeling of the Co®iasioners, <br /> however, that Solution #3 would be prefer- <br /> able, and a motion was entered and passed <br /> approving Solution #3, <br />- 8 - <br />
