.... <br />. ,~, <br />q~`~$""r°~ CITY of PLEASANTON <br />Planning Commission <br />MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING. <br />Date : December 10, 1969 <br />Time : s:os PM <br />PIOCe: Pleasanton Justice Court <br />Mr. Castro further stated that there are <br />several interim uses which can be consider <br />although it appears that because of finan- <br />cing and current needs, the mobile home <br />park appears to be the most desirable and <br />realistic use. <br />Mr. Castro then advised the Commission that <br />several applications for mobile home parks <br />would, in all probability, be coming in. <br />It was also noted that perhaps a joint meet <br />ing between Commission and Council regard- <br />ing mobile home parks would be beneficial. <br />Mr. Jim Stacy, the applicant, was present <br />and spoke in favor of his application. <br />Commissioner Pereira questioned Mr. Stacy <br />regarding his affiliation with the adjoin- <br />ing parcel at 3263 Vineyard Avenue. It was <br />explained that the property was to be deeded <br />back to the original owner. When Mr. Stacy, <br />representing South Bay Land Company, bought <br />the parcel at 3263 Vineyard Avenue and <br />applied for and received a conditional use <br />permit for the land, it was his understand- <br />ing that the application went with the <br />applicant and not with the land. Therefore, <br />it was his understanding that after the <br />parcel is deeded back to its original owner, <br />the use permit for South Bay Land Company <br />would no longer be in effect. <br />Considerable discussion ensued. <br />Mr. Robert Brown, 2807 Castro Valley Blvd., <br />Castro Valley, California, attorney for <br />Mr. A. G. Overpack, the original owner of t <br />parcel, spoke for his client and advised <br />the Commission that there is a possibility <br />- 6 - <br />
