1 <br />2. Structural DeeiRn of Streets <br />The pavement sections shall be designed by the developer's Soil <br />Engineer and be acceptable to the City Engineer. <br />3. Specifications and Standard Details <br />In accordance with Section 8.01 of Ordinance No. 358, it is requested <br />that the City Engineer be authorized to modify the City's existing <br />Standard Specifications and Detail in applying them to this Sub- <br />division in order to allow for modern materials and methods as may <br />be required. Some specific recommendations for such modifications <br />are as follows: <br />a. Specifications for sewer and water pipe should be modified to <br />allow newer type joints. <br />b. Specifications for street name signs should be modified to <br />require white reflectorized letters, block numbers on green coated <br />aluminum sheeting as previously approved by the Planning Commis- <br />sion and City Council. <br />c. Reference should be made to the 1960 Standard Specifications of <br />the California Division of Highways, rather than the 1954 edition, <br />particularly with reference to roadway materials. <br />4, Sanitary Sewer S sv rem <br />The 6" V.C.P, shown along lot lines in the northeast corner of the <br />subdivision and serving lots 23 and 24 should be eliminated in favor <br />of a line in Amber Lane. <br />Final approval of the sanitary sewer system should be withheld until <br />the developer has submitted engineering calculations and has demon- <br />strated to the satisfaction of the City Engineer that the proposed <br />system is adequate for the service area and generally meets the long- <br />range requirements for the sanitary sewer ayetem in this area. <br />5. Water Supply and Diatribution_Syatem <br />The 12" cast iron water main in Sunol Blvd. should be extended across <br />the entire Sunol Blvd. frontage of the developer's property. <br />The water line shown along lot Lines in the northeast corner of the <br />subdivision and aezving lots 23 and 24 should be eliminated in favor <br />of a line across the entire Amber Lane frontage. <br />Final approval of the water supply and distribution system should be <br />withheld until the developer has submitted engineering calculations <br />and has demonstrated to the satisfaction of the City Engineer that the <br />proposed ayetem is adequate for the service area and genezally meets <br />the bong-range requirements for the water system in this area. <br />6. <br />Final approval of the storm drainage system should be withheld until <br />the developer tua demonstrated to tb.e satisfaction of the City <br />Engineer that the proposed system is adequate for the tributary areas <br />under fully developed conditions, and that the downstream system is <br />adequate an~i easements are provided. <br />7. <br />In accordance with Article 8, Ordinance llo. 358, the Planning Commiseio; <br />moat specify the method of installation of public utilities at the time <br />of approval of the Tentative Map. It is recommended that streamlined <br />underground systems be used in this development. <br />8. Easements <br />It is recommended that all in-tract easements be granted as public <br />service easements with no reference to specific use. <br />9. Other Ordinances <br />Unless specifically modified by the Planning Commission at the time of <br />approval of this Tentative Map, the development shall confoxm to all <br />applicable ordinances and regulations of the City of Pleasanton and all <br />other agencies having jurisdiction. <br />
