<br />RESOLVED, that the above-named Zoning Permit is hereby approved subject
<br />to the following condition:
<br />1. Applicant shall conform to all other applicable rules,
<br />regulations and ordinances of the City or any other
<br />agency having jurisdiction, particularly the Alameda
<br />County Health Department.
<br />The next item on the agenda was a diacuaeioa of future assignment of a new name
<br />for "Pine Avenue Extension", requested by the City of Livermore. Mr. Falea ex-
<br />plained that the Flanning Director of the City of Livermore requested suggestions
<br />from the Pleasanton Planning Commission. Names considered were "Inman", "Fairlande'~
<br />and "Lae Poaitas". Following discussion, it was the consensus of the Commission
<br />that Che name "Lae Poeitae Boulevard" would be appropriate. The street crosses a
<br />portion of what was the original Rancho Las Poaitas land grant, and will pass
<br />adjacent to the new Lae Poeitae High School in Livermore. There 1s a minor County
<br />road near Livermore now bearing this name, which would have to be changed, Mr.
<br />Fales explained. Upon motion of Chairman Landon, seconded by Commissioner Lozano,
<br />the following resolution was unanimously adopted:

<br />The City Planning Commission does hereby recommend that
<br />the proposed boulevard shown on the General Plan of the
<br />City of Pleasanton adopted March 1, 1965, as "Pine Avenue
<br />Extension" be renamed, using a designation with historical
<br />significance.
<br />The Planning Commission ie of the opinion Chat "Lae Poaitas
<br />Boulevard" would be a suitable and proper name for the
<br />subject street.
<br />The next item on the agenda was a review of Tentative Subdivision Map, Tract No.
<br />2724 (Schulte-Blackwell). Mr. Ted Fairfield, of MacKay and Sompe, stated that the
<br />Alameda County Planning Commission and Board of Supervisors have adopted the
<br />zoning for the subject tract, to become effective approximately April 8, 1965.
<br />Mr. Fairfield pointed out the changes which have been made, including eliminating
<br />five lots and one cul-de-sac. The subject Tentative Map incorporates City of
<br />Pleasanton street standards, including streamlined electric. Mr. Fairfield re-
<br />quested that the Pleasanton Planning Commission approve the Tentative Map subject
<br />ro annexation in order to avoid delays in the event of annexation to the City of
<br />Pleasanton. He staked that the Tentative Map will come before the Alameda County
<br />Planning Commission for approval on April 5. Following discussion, Chairman Landon

<br />The formal procedure in this matter is to vwke application for rezoning of the
<br />subject property to the Plauning Commisaioci to RG-15 or RG-25, or if the plan is
<br />reduced to a 5-pier, for instance, it might be handled under a Variance. Chairman
<br />Landon stated that if formal application is made it will be given consideration.
