N.r. Fales brought to the Co:nmiecion'e attention that Resolution No. 387, dated <br />February 10, 1965, should be amended to include the words, "that it is hereby <br />recommended to the City Council" following "Resolved". Upon motion of Chairman <br />Landon, seconded by Commissioner Lozano, the following resolution was adopted by <br />unanimous vote: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 405 <br />RESOLVED: <br />The final paragraph of Resolution No. 387, adopted February 10, <br />1965, is hereby amended to read as follows: <br />RESOLVED, that it !e hereby recommended to the City Council <br />that the time allowed for the construction of <br />improvements within Tract No. 2591 be extended to February 20, <br />1966. <br />Mr. Falea read a referral from the Alameda County Planning Commission, dated <br />March 5, 1965, with regard to the application of Oliver de Silva, Inc., for a <br />sand and gravel permit. There was confusion on the part of the staff ae to whether <br />or not there might possibly be an overlapping of interests in the property in <br />question, and since there had not been sufficient time to make inquiry, Chairman <br />Landon instructed the staff to look into the matter further and bring back a report <br />to the Comataeion. <br />Mr. Falea read a referral from the Alameda County Planning Commission dated March 9; <br />1965, regarding the proposal of Raiser Industries to expand their existing Band and <br />gravel pit operations in the Pleasanton area. Mr. Falea read Resolution No. 3622, <br />adopted by the City Council on December 21, 1964, which ie a policy statement con- <br />cerning expansion of gravel pits, including the "Mayo" and "Feidler" properties <br />and the most easterly portion of the '$uech" property, and outlining conditions <br />attached thereto. After discussion by the Commission, upon motion of Chairman <br />Landon, seconded by Commissioner Lozano, the following resolution was adopted by <br />unanimous vote: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 406 <br />RESOLVED: <br />The City Planning Commission hereby authorized the City <br />staff to forward a copy of City Council Resolution No. <br />3622, adopted December 21, 1964, to the Alameda County <br />Planning Commission in reply to their referral dated <br />March 9, 1965, of the proposal of Kaiser Industries to <br />expand their existing sand and gravel pit operations <br />in the Pleasanton area. <br />There being no further business to come before the Commission, upon motion of <br />Commissioner Lozano, seconded by Commissioner Antonini, the meeting was adjourned <br />at 10:05 P.M., to meet again on Wednesday, March 24, 1965, at 8:00 P.M. <br />
