After discueaion by the Cosnni.aaion, upon motion of Commissioner Rega, seconded by Commiealoner Johnston, the foilowing resolution was adopted by unanimous vote: ~ESOLUTEON N0~401 Wkl.4REA5, the eppli.cati^n c^~ Fleasanton Mills, Inc., P.O. Box 397, Pleasanton, for a Conditional [Ise Permit in order to construct a mill and storage buildings near. the int_roection of Mohr and Oakland Avenues, in an A District, has come before thin Commission; NGW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the above-named Conditional Uae Permit is hereby approved subject to the following conditions: 1. Said Conditional Uae Permit ie issued for a period of fifteen years from the date of issuance. 2. The applicant moat meet all other applicable rules, regulations and ordiaancea of the City. Chairman Landon opened the public hearing on the application of John S. Codd, 4051 Nevis Street, for a Variance from Section 6.500, Ord. No. 309, in order to allow an addition to a single-family dwelling within the required rear yard setback, at the above address, in an R-1 District. Mr. Falea, in giving the staff report, explained that, although the proposed addition will encroach into the 20 ft. re- quired rear yard, there is at this time a LO foot rear yard existing which the proposed addition will not further reduce. This is an "L"-shaped dwelling, the proposed addition is relatively small (57,•10% of the existing floor area), end the remainder of the rear yard ie between 40-50 ft. The staff, therefore, recom- mends that the Variance be granted. There being no comments from the audience, it was moved by Commissioner Antonini, seconded by Commissioner Lozano, and carried, that the public hearing be closed. Chairman Landon proceeded to the application of Mr. Herbert B. Hauso, 680 Main St., for a Zoning Permit with Site Plan, Architectural and Landscape Approval in order to add restaurant facilities to an existing bakery at the above address in a C-C District.
