<br />Chairman Lardon opened the public hearing on the application of Arthur Carroll,
<br />et al, for an amendment to Oxd. No. 309 rezoning the area between Vineyard and
<br />Kottinger Avenues, easterly of First St., including property located at 4172, 4188,
<br />4184 Vineyard Ave., 4250, 4212, 4226, 4232, 4238, 4264, 426?. first St., and 194
<br />Kottinger Ave., from the R-2 to the C=C District. Mr. Fales stated that the staff
<br />repor*_ was the same ae that presented with regard to the previous application.

<br />hearing be closed. Upon motion of Chairman Landou, seconded by Commissioner

<br />4184 Vineyard Ave., 4250, 4212, 4226, 4232, 4238, 4264, 4262 First St., and
<br />194 Kottinger Ave., from the R-2 to the C-C District, has come before this
<br />Commission;
<br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the above-named application for
<br />rezoning be denied.
<br />Regarding the next item on the agenda, the public hearing on the application of
<br />Wm. T. Marsh, 62 West Neal St., for a Variance from Article 4, Ord. No. 309, in
<br />order to allow a C-0 (Admin. and Professional Office) land use in an A Dlatrict,
<br />for a parcel containing approximately 0.75 acres located on the east side of Sunol
<br />Blvd. between Sonoma Dr. and Sycamore Rd., Mr. Falea stated that Mr. Lee Amaral,
<br />attorney for the applicant, requested that the matter be continued to the meeting
<br />of April 28, 1965.
<br />The next item on the agenda was the application of John M. Stanley, 3850 Vineyard
<br />Ave., fora Zoning Permit with Site Plan, Architectural and Landscape Approval, in
<br />order to construct a duplex at 4263 Pleasanton Ave., 1n an RG-25 District. Mr.
<br />Falea gave the staff report in which he stated that the proposal appears to be
<br />capable of meeting the Ordinance requirements, and the staff recommends approval
<br />~a1th conditions as outlined. Considerable discussion ensued by the Commission
<br />regarding a garage versus a carport on the subject property. Mr. Stanley was pres-
<br />ent in the audience and expressed a willingness to comply with any conditions
<br />imposed by the Cormnlasion. Upon motion of Chairman Landon, seconded by Commissioner
<br />3ohnston, the following resolution was adopted by unanimous vote:
