RESOLUTION N0. 444 <br />RESOLVED: <br />Application of Humble 011 Company, 1330 Broadway, Oakland, for <br />e Conditional Uee Permit in order to construct an automobile <br />service station at 349 Main St., in a C-C District, was approved <br />by the Planning Commission, after the required public hearing, <br />subject to the conditions and changes noted on the approved <br />site, landscaping and architectural plane for this project <br />on file in the Public Works Department. <br />RESOLUTION N0. 445 <br />AESOLV~ s <br />Application of Rumble Oil and Refining Co., 1330 Broadway, <br />Oakland, for a Zoning lermit with Site Plan, Architectural <br />and Landecepe Approval, in order to construct an automobile <br />service station at 349 Main St., in a C-C District, was <br />approved by the Planning Commission, after the required <br />public hearing. <br />Vice Chairman Lozano opened public hearing on the application of Matt and Alma <br />C. Jorgensen, 4225 Stanley Blvd., fora Conditional Use lermit in order to <br />enlarge a building devoted to an existing non-conforming use, at the above <br />location in an interim R-1 District. After a report by the staff, and die- <br />cuseion mainly concerning street improvements, to which Mr. Jorgensen was <br />agreeable to make, under the time limit set by the City, the public hearing <br />was closed by Comsd,eaioner Antonini, seconded by Commissioner Johnston, and <br />carried. There being no further discussion after consideration by the Commie- <br />eion, upon motion of Commi¢eioaer Johnston, seconded by Coa®iaeioner Rega, the <br />following resolution was adopted by unanimous vote of those Commi.eaioners <br />present: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 446 <br />RESOLVED: <br />The City Planning Commission, after the requir ed public hearing, <br />hereby approved the application of Matt and Alma C. Jorgensen, <br />4225 Stanley Blvd., for a Conditional Uee Permit in order to <br />enlarge a building devoted to an existing non-conforming use, at <br />the above location in an interim R-1 District, subject to the <br />following conditions: <br />1. Street improvements ae required by the City Engineer moat <br />be installed within a period of two years, by July 28, 1967, <br />or at such time as adjacent property owners install street <br />improvements along the frontage of their property. <br />2. An agreement between the City of Pleasanton and the present <br />owner guaranteeing the installation of street improvements, <br />ae required above, shall be executed in a form as prepared <br />by the City Attorney, prior to the issuance of any building <br />permits for the subject property. <br />Vice Chairman Lozano opened public hearing on the application of Glen L. Groom, <br />5432 San Juan Way, for a Variance from Section 6.5, Ord. No. 309, in order to <br />construct a single-family dwelling with a reduced rear yard, located at 5559 <br />San Juan Way, in an R-1 District. The purpose of the requested Variance is to <br />allow a rather unusual placement of the house in order to preserve a very large <br />old oak tree, that ie located approximately in the middle of the property. <br />After brief discussion, and there being no comments from the audience, Commis- <br />sioner Johnston moved that the public hearing be closed, seconded by Commis- <br />sioner Rega, and carried. Upon motion of Commissioner Antonini, seconded by <br />Commissioner Rega, the following resolution was adopted by unanimous vote of <br />those Commissioners present: <br />
