Mr. Falea gave the staff report, and drawings were presented for the Commission to
<br />study. There being no comments, Commissioner Antonini moved the public hearing be
<br />closed, seconded by Commissioner Johnston, and carried. There being no further
<br />discussion, it was moved by Commissioner Johnston, seconded by Commissioner Rega,
<br />and carried, that the above application of Sam W. Gerlitz be presented to the City
<br />Council with the recommendation that it be adopted, since the rezoning is in con-
<br />formance with the Pleasanton General Plan.
<br />Chairman Landon next opened public hearing on the application of S. V. Builders,
<br />319 MacArthur B1vd.San"LeandreEor a Conditional Uae permit in order to construct
<br />a temporary tract office end storage facility et the southwest corner of Kottinger
<br />Drive and Sherry Court, in an R-1 District. The staff report was given and plena
<br />shown to the members o£ the Commission. Mr. Pasdini, Viee President of Parma-Bilt,
<br />explained the plena for the development. There being no further comment, Chairman
<br />Landon moved the public hearing be closed. This was seconded by Commissioner
<br />Antonini, and carried. There being no further diecuaeion, upon motion by Commiaeion-
<br />er Antonini, seconded by Commissioner Johnston, the following resolution was adopted

<br />The application of S. V. Builders, 319 MacArthur Blvd., San Leandro,
<br />for a Conditional Use Permit in order to construct a temporary tract
<br />office and storage facility at the southwest corner of Kottinger
<br />Drive and Sherry Court, in an R-1 District, ie hereby approved,
<br />subject to the following conditions:
<br />1. Ingress and egress to the subject facilities mdet be provided
<br />to the satisfaction of the City Engineer, and all noise and
<br />duet moat be controlled to the satisfaction of the City Engineer.
<br />2. The subject permit is issued fora period of two years only.
<br />3. Said facilities moat be removed upon thirty days written notice
<br />by the City.
<br />Next item on the agenda was the application of Ad-Art, Inc., 1715 64th St.,
<br />Emeryville, For a Zoning Permit in order to install another advertizing sign in
<br />connection with Edgzen Motors, 234 Main St., in a C-G District. Mr. Fa lea pre-
<br />sented the staff report and pictures of the proposed sign, which is a eingle-
<br />faced, non-illuminated type. After diecuaeion, upon motion of Chairman Landon,
<br />seconded by Commissioner Antonini, the following resolution was adopted by
<br />unanimous vote.

<br />WHEREAS, the application of Ad-Art, Inc., 1715 64th St., Emeryville,
<br />for a Zoning Ferffit in order to install en advertizing sign
<br />in connection with Edgren Motors, 234 Mein St., in a C-G District,
<br />has come before this Commission;
<br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
<br />RESOLVED, that the above-named Zoning Permit ie hereby granted.
<br />The next item on the agenda was the application of Kinney E. Griffin, 4510 Williams
<br />St., Fremont, for a Zoning Permit with Site Plan, Architectural and Landscape
<br />Approval in order to construct 14 multiple dwelling unite at 4795 Harrison St., in
<br />an RG-15 District. After the staff report was presented, Mr. Griffin explained
<br />the plena, which were presented to the members of the Commission to study. These
<br />plena reveal townhouse type unite, of concrete block, stucco, and redwood trim.
<br />After further diecuaeion on parking restrictions in connection with required park=
<br />ing spaces, upon motion of Chairman Landon, seconded by Commissioner Rega, the
<br />following resolution was adopted by unanimous vote.
