Chairman Landon opened the public hearing on the application of R. W. 9utterfield,
<br />635 Los Alamos Avenue, Livermore, for an amendment to Ordinance No.309, rezoning
<br />a parcel of property located at 1056 Division Street, from the R-1 to the RG-15
<br />District. Mr. Fates informed the Commission that the applicant had called and
<br />requested that his application be withdrawn. Upon motion of Chairman Landon,
<br />seconded by Commissioner Antonini, and carried, it was determined to continue this
<br />application until the meeting of February 9, 1966, and await a formal letter of
<br />withdrawal from applicant.
<br />Chairman Landon opened the public hearing on the application of T. J. and Stella
<br />Zaro, 341 Bernal Avenue, for a Conditional Use Permit in order to expand an existing
<br />non-conforming Single-family dwelling at the above address, in a C-0 District. Mr.
<br />Falea presented the staff report which recommended approval with stated conditions.
<br />Mr. Tom Zaro was present in the audience and stated that he concurred with the
<br />staff report. It was moved by Commissioner Antonini, seconded by Commissioner Rega,
<br />and carried, that Che public hearing be closed. After discussion by the Commission,
<br />upon motiod of Commissioner Antonini, seconded by Commissioner Rega, the following
<br />resolution was adopted by unanimous vote.

<br />WHEREAS, the application of T. J. and Stella Zaro, 341 Bernal
<br />Avenue, for a Conditional Uae Permit in order to ex-
<br />pand an existing non-ccnforming single-family dwelling

<br />fore this Commission:

<br />1. The property owner be obligated by methods
<br />satisfactory to the City Attorney for the
<br />installation of standard curb, gutter, side-
<br />walk, driveway approach and tie-in paving, at
<br />such time as the drainage problem has been
<br />taken care of.
<br />2. The proposed addition must conform to ail
<br />other ordinances and regulations of the
<br />City of Pleasanton and all other agencies
<br />having jurisdiction.

<br />Products, Inc., 2172 Railroad Avenue, Livermore, for a Variance from Section 6.500,
<br />Ordinance No. 304, in order to construct a patio cover within the rear yard setback
<br />at 4103 Alvarado Street, in an R-1 District. Mr. Falea presented the staff report
<br />which recommended approval. Mr. Bob Hashagen of Sunset Aluminum Products, Inc.,
<br />was present in the audience. Upon motion of Commissioner Plato, seconded by
<br />Commissioner Antonini, and carried, the public hearing was closed. After discussion
<br />by the Commission, upon motion of Commissioner Antonini, seconded by Commissioner
<br />Johnston, the following resolution was adopted by unanimous vote.

<br />Avenue, south of the Arroyo del Yalle, north of Vineyard Avenue, east of First Street
