Chairman Landon opened the public hearing on the application of S. V. Builders, Inc., <br />319 Mac Arthur Boulevard, San Leandro, for a Variance in order to construct a stucco <br />fence six feet in height within the front yard setback, in construction of a single <br />family dwelling located at 593 Del Sol Avenue and 657 Del Sol Avenue, in an R-1 <br />District. These were two separate applications. Mr. Fales presented the staff <br />report. During the discussion, it was determined that a Variance was not required <br />for property at 657 Del §ol Avenue. Upon motion of Commissioner Johnston, seconded <br />by Commissioner Antonini, and carried, the public hearing was closed. After further <br />discussion, upon motion of Commissioner Antonini, seconded by Commissioner Johnston, <br />the following resolution was adopted by unanimous vote. <br />RESOLUTION N0. 547 <br />WHEREAS, the application of S. V. Builders, Inc., 319 Mac <br />Arthur Boulevard, San Leandro, fot a Variance in <br />order to construct a stucco fence six feet in <br />height within the front yard setback, in con- <br />struction of a single family dwelling located at <br />593 Del Sol Avenue, in an R-1 District, has come <br />before this Commission: <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT <br />RESOLVED: that the above-named application be granted with <br />the following condition: <br />1. Fence to be only five feet in height. <br />Chairman Landon opened the public hearing on the application of George Marment, 403 <br />Oak Lane, Pleasanton, for a Variance from Section 8.500, Ordinance No. 309, in order <br />to allow a reduced rear-yard setback in construction of three multiple dwelling units <br />on Lot 81, Tract No. 2629 (Vintage Hills) in an RG-25 District. Mr. Fales pre- <br />sented the staff report. J. Jack Bras was present in the audience and concurred <br />with the staff report. Upon motion of Chairman Landon, seconded by Commissioner <br />Antonini, and carried, the public hearing was closed. At this point, it was deter- <br />mined to consider the application for a Zoning Permit which was also submitted by <br />Mr. Marment. Mr. Fales presented this staff report.
