<br />WBEREAS, the application of Pacific Telephone and Telegraph
<br />Company, 111 North Market Street, San Joae, for a
<br />Conditional Uae Permit in order to construct a
<br />communications building at 65 Ray Street, in a
<br />C-C District, has come before this Commission:
<br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
<br />RESOLVED: that the above-named application be granted with the
<br />following conditions.
<br />1. This use will require complete site plan,
<br />architectural and Landscaping approval through
<br />the issuance of a Zoning Permit by the City
<br />Planning Commission prior to the issuance of any
<br />building permits.
<br />2. There be a minimum ten foot front yard setback
<br />for future street widening.
<br />Chairman Landon opened the public hearing on the application of V. L. Lund, Jr.,
<br />747 Mirador Court, for a Variance from Section 9.500, Ordinance No. 309, in order
<br />to allow use of an existing building at 164 Main Street as a real estate office, in
<br />a C-0 District. Mr. Fales presented the staff report which recommended approval.
<br />Mr. Fales also commented on the fact that this proposed development is an example of
<br />what can be done to rehabilitate existing sites and structures. Mr. Fales also
<br />presented the staff report on the Zoning Permit in conjunction with this property.
<br />Mr. Jack Bras, representing Mr. Lund, Jr., concurred with the staff reports. Upon
<br />motion of Chairman Landon, seconded by Commissioner Antonini, and carried, the
<br />public hearing was closed. After further discussion, upon motion of Commissioner
<br />Plato, seconded by Commissioner Antcnini, the following resolution was adopted by
<br />unanimous vote.

<br />RESOLVED: that the above-named application be granted subject
<br />to the following conditions:
<br />1. AL1 off-street parking areas aad access driveways
<br />must be paved to City standards with a minimum
<br />of 1~ inches of asphalt concrete and 5 Inches
<br />of aggregate base.
<br />2. Curb, gutter, sidewalk and driveway approaches
<br />shall be constructed to City standards.
