Chaiman Antonini opened the public hearing on the application of Albers Feed and <br />Fam Supply, 2700 7th Street, Oakland, for a Conditional Uae Pewit under Section <br />16.200, Ordinance No. 309. in order to modify or extend an existing non-confoming <br />use located at 4711 First Street, in a C-0 District. Mr. Campbell presented the <br />staff report which recommended approval with conditions. Mr. Dave Wall, represent- <br />ing Albers Feed, was present in the audience and concurred, in part, with the staff <br />report. Mr. Wall stated that his fim was operating on a tight budget and asked <br />that the condition pertaining to sidewalks be deleted. Upon notion of Chaiman <br />Antonini, seconded by Cocwiisaioner Garrigaa, and carried, the public hearing was <br />closed. After further discussion, upon notion of Conniasioner Arnold, seconded by <br />Chaiman Antonini, the following resolution was adopted by unanimous vote. <br />RESOLUTION N0. 579 <br />WHBREAS, the application of Albers Feed aad Fam Supply, <br />2700 7th Street, Oakland, for a Conditional Use <br />Pewit under Section 16.200 Ordinance No. 309, in <br />order to modify or extend an existing non-confom- <br />ing use located at 4711 First Street, in a C-0 Dis- <br />trict, has cone before this Comnissioa: <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT <br />RESOLVED: that the above-Waned application be approved with the <br />following conditions: <br />1. Sufficient area adjacent to and between the <br />buildings and the railroad tracks be paved to <br />allow parking for 15 vehicles. <br />2. A standard driveway approach be constructed on <br />Abbie Street providing access to this parking area. <br />3. Standard sidewalk be constructed along the <br />Abbie Street frontage from the First Street curb <br />and gutter to the railroad right-of-way proper. <br />4. Sidewalk along First Street to be installed <br />at such tine as the City Engineer deems it <br />necessary due to pedestrian traffic. <br />5. Sigma shown on plot plan approved as shown. <br />Chaiman Antonini opened the public hearing on the application of the Planning <br />Connisaion for amendments to Section 8.500, Ordinance No. 309, regarding area re- <br />quireneata in RG Districts (continued from May 11). Mr. Campbell presented a <br />report and a nenorandun received from Livingston and Blayney relative to this <br />subject. After discussion by the Comiasion, upon notion of Chaiman Antonini, <br />seconded by Cocmiasioner Arnold, and carried, it was deteminad to continue this <br />natter to the meeting of June 8, 1966. <br />The next item on the agenda was the application of Karl H. Kloock, 17 Lisbon <br />Street, San Francisco, for a Conditional Uae Pewit in order to install a temporary <br />sign advertising a future Wells-Fargo Bank location, at the southwest corner of <br />Santa Rita Road and Valley Avenue, in a C-N D1strlct (continued from May 11). Mr. <br />Kloock was present in the audience and presented to the Cocmission a proposal of <br />how this sign would be installed on top of the exleting sign. After further dis- <br />cussion, upon notion of Ca®issioner Carrigan, seconded by Chairman Antonini, the <br />following resolution was adopted by unanimous vote. <br />RESOLUTION N0. 580 <br />WHBREAS, the application of Karl H.
