Vice-Chairman Johnston opened the public hearing on the application of St. <br />Auguatine's Roman Catholic Church, 287 Roae Avenue, Pleasanton, for a Conditional <br />Use Permit to use an existing structure for teaching religion at 280 Rose Avenue, <br />Pleasanton, in an R-1 District. Mr. Falea presented the staff report which rec- <br />ommended approval with a possible time limit for review of this application. Upon <br />motion of Commissioner Garrigan, seconded by Commissioner Plato, and carried, the <br />public hearing was closed. After further discussion, upon motion of Commissioner <br />Garrigan, seconded by Commissioner Arnold, the following resolution was adopted by <br />unanimous vote. <br />RESOLUTION N0. 607 <br />WHEREAS, the application of St. Auguatine's Roman Catholic <br />Church, 287 Roae Avenue, Pleasanton, for a Con- <br />ditional Use Permit to use an pasting structure <br />for teaching religion at 280 Roae Avenue, Pleasanton, <br />in an R-1 District, has come before this Commission: <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT <br />RESOLVED: that the above named application be approved with the <br />stipulation of a review at the end of two years. <br />The next item on the agenda was the application of Guaranteed Homes, 934 Santa Rtta <br />Road, Pleasanton, for a Zoning Permit in order to allow the placement of a 3 foot <br />by 5 foot sign on the front of the building at the above address. Mr. Falea pre- <br />sented the staff report which recommended approval. After further discussion, upon <br />motion of Commissioner Plato, seconded by Commissioner Garrigan, and carried, it <br />was determined that the above named application be approved. <br />The next item on the agenda was the application of Allen D. Holmes, 2250 Linden <br />Street, Livermore, for a Zoning Permit in order to operate an ambulance out of a <br />residence at 4318 First Street, Pleasanton in a R-2 District. Mr. Falea presented <br />the staff report which recommended approval with si.x conditions attached. After <br />further discussion, upon motion of Commissioner Plato, seconded by Commissioner <br />Garrigan, and carried, it was determined that the above named application be <br />approved with conditions as stated in the staff report, except Condition No. 6 <br />should read: Only two ambulances would be allowed at one time. <br />The npct item on the agenda eras further discussion on the specific language regard- <br />ing mixed lot sizes. Mr. Fales presented a report from Livingston and Blayney <br />dated August 22, 1966. After diacusaion on the matter, it was dPtPrmtned to con- <br />tinue this item until later in the meeting. <br />There were no Communications. <br />The next item on the agenda was Tentative Subdivision Map, Tract No. 2896, Stoneson. <br />Mr. Campbell presented the staff report with stated conditions for approval. Mr. <br />Campbell also presented a report from the Park and Recreation Commission relative <br />to this subdivision. It was pointed out that consideration should be given to <br />designating afire house site on public park land, definitely designating a fire <br />house site somewhere in this aubdiviaion. Mr. Ted Fairfield was present in the <br />audience and spoke regarding this aubdiviaion. After further discussion, it was <br />determined to set this matter aside until later in the meeting for a decision. <br />The next item on the agenda was the Tentative Subdivision Map for Tract No. 2807, <br />Vebilacqua. Mr. Campbell presented the amended staff report with stated conditions. <br />After considerable diacusaion, upon motion of Commissioner Arnold, seconded by <br />Commissioner Garrigan, the following resolution was adopted by unanimous vote. <br />RESOLUTION N0. 608 <br />t,IIIEREAS, the consideration of Tentative Map, Tract 2807, Bevilacqua, <br />has come before this Commission: <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT <br />RESOLVED: that the above named Tentative Map be approved with staff <br />conditions in report dated August 31, 1966; and adding <br />paragraph 17 as follows: <br />17. Park Sites. Tract shall contain a maximum number of <br />units as follows: 392 single family dwelling units, 155 <br />multiple or single family dwelling unite, for a total of <br />547 dwelling unite.
