M I N U T E S of THE PLANNING COMMISSION Pleasanton, California August 31, 1966 The regularly scheduled meeting of the Planning Commission was called to order at 8:00 P.M., on Wednesday, August 31, 1966, by Vice-Chairman Johnston. ROLL CALL showed the following: Present: Commissioner Arnold Carrigan Vice-Chairman Johnston Secretary Fales Absent: Commissioner Plato Chairman Antonini Upon motion of Commissioner Arnold, seconded by Commissioner Carrigan, and carried, the minutes of the meeting of August L0, 1966, were approved as presented by unani- mous vote. Commissioner Plato joined the meeting at 8:01 P.M. Vice-Chairman Johnston opened the public hearing on the application of A. A. Baptista, 305 Adams Court, for a Variance from Section 18.603, Ordinance No. 309 in order to allow construction of a fence exceeding 30 inches in height within the building setback area, at the above address in an R-1 District. Mr. Falea presented the staff report which recommended approval. Mr. Baptista was present in the audience. Upon motion of Commissioner Carrigan, seconded by Commissioner Arnold, and carried, the public hearing was cloned. After further discussion, upon motion of Commissioner Arnold, seconded by Commissioner Plato, the followinC resolution was adopted by unanimous vote. RESOLUTION N0~_605 WBBREAS, the application of R. A. Baptista, 305 Adana Court, for a Variance from Section 18.603, Ordinance No. 309 in order to allow construction of a fence exceeding 30 inches in height within the building setback area, at the above address in an R-1 District, has come before this Co®ission: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: that the above named application be aplroved. Vice-Chairman Johnston opened the public hearing on the application of Robert W. Magoon, 818 East Angela Street, for a Variance from Sections 6.500 and 17.600 of the Zoning Ordinance in order to allow a reduced aide yard and setback for a swimming pool. Mr. Fales presented the staff report which recommended approval. Upon motior of Commissioner Carrigan, seconded by Commissioner Arnold, and carried, the public hearing was closed. After further discussion, upon motion of Commissioner Plato, seconded by Commissioner Arnold, the following resolution was adopted by unanimous vote. RESOLUTION N0. 60G WHEREAS, the application of Robert W. Magoon, 818 East Angela Street, for a Variance from Sections 6.500 and 17.600 of the Zoning Ordinance in order to allow a reduced side yard for pool front yard and setback fot fence, has come before this Commission: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: that the above named application be approved.
