Parkland Dedication, developer shall dedicate a <br />neighborhood park of at Least 5.47 acres, provided <br />that in the event developers site plan for multiple <br />unite is not approved by City, or zoning regulations <br />require less units, then no adjustment or decrease <br />in park area or in lieu fee shall be made. <br />At 10:45 P.M„ Vice-Chairman Johnston called for a ten minute recess. <br />At 10:55 P.M., the meeting was called back to order and diacaesion was resumed on <br />Tract No. 2II9G, Stoneson. After further discussion, upon motion of Commissioner <br />Plato, seconded by Commissioner Garrigan, the following resolution was adopted by <br />unanimous vote. <br />RESOLUTION N0. 609 <br />FIHEREAS, consideration of Tentative Subdivision Map for Tract <br />No. 2896, Stoneson, has come before this Commission: <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT <br />RESOLVED: to amend Resolution No. 602 for Zoning Permit 266-23, <br />amending action on Planned Unit Development for this <br />tract, allowing 987 dwelling units instead of 927 as <br />previously stipulated. <br />Upon motion of Commissioner Garrigan, seconded by Commissioner Arnold, the <br />following resolution was adopted by unanimous vote. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 610 <br />WHEREAS, consideration of Tentative Subdivision Map for Tract <br />No. 2396, Stoneson, has come before this Commission: <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT <br />RESOLVED: to approve Tentative Map for Tract 2896, Stoneson, as <br />amended by Resolution No. 609, and with total of 9.87 <br />acres as park site, and conditions as stated in staff <br />report dated August 24, 1966. <br />There was considerable discussion regarding the determination of density for any <br />given tract. The main factor being whether park land should be included or ex- <br />cluded in determining the density figure. After further discussion, upon motion <br />of Commissioner Arnold, seconded by Commissioner Garrigan, the following reso]++rinn <br />was adopted with roll call as follows: AYES: Commissioners Arnold, Garrigan and <br />Vice-Chairman Johnston.. NOES: None Abstanined: Commissioner Plato. <br />RESOLUTION N0. 611 <br />WHEREAS, the matter of a policy decision regarding determination <br />of the density figure for any given tract, has come <br />before this Commission: <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT <br />RESOLVED: to recommend to the City Council that the policy of the <br />City regarding the determination of density be that park <br />land be included rather than excluded 1n determination <br />of density. <br />The next item on the agenda was a General Plan for the Hansen property, submitted <br />by Deetz-Crane Company, who are the developers of the Hansen property. Mr. George <br />Deetz and Mr. Ted Fairfield were present in the audience and spoke pointing out the <br />various areas of R-1, RG-15, school sites, parks and shopping carter site. The <br />Commission was asked to recommend to the City Council regarding the land use. <br />Ater further discussion, upon motion of Commissioner Arnold, seconded by Commission- <br />er Plato, and carried, it was determined to recommend to the City Council that the <br />General Plan be approved with the shopping center included ae "A" zoning and no <br />recommendation on C-N zoning. Also, to stipulate that C-N zoning be delayed until <br />later for further study. <br />
