Commissioner Garrigan, and carried, the public hearing was closed. After further
<br />discussion, upon motion of Commissioner Garrigan, seconded by Chairman Antonini,
<br />the following resolution was adopted by unanlmoue vote.

<br />WHEREAS, the application of the Pleasanton Church of Christ for
<br />a Conditional Use Permit under Section 12.301, Ordinance
<br />No, 309, in order to conduct church services at 4294
<br />Stanley Boulevard, in a C-T District, has come before
<br />this Commission:
<br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
<br />RESOLVED: that the above-named application be approved with a six
<br />month time limitation, at which time this application
<br />shall be reviewed particularly relative to the parking
<br />situation.
<br />Chairman Antonini opened the public hearing on the application of the Planning Com-
<br />misaion for an amendment to the Pleasanton General Plan regarding the provision of
<br />grade separetiona and connections on Interstate Route 680 between Interstate Route
<br />580 and Bernal Avenue, Mr. Campbell presented the staff report which pointed out
<br />the two separations at the Stonegate Development area and on the Hansen Home Ranch
<br />area. Upon motion of Commissioner Garrigan, seconded by Chairmen Antonini, and
<br />carried, the public hearing was closed. After further discussion, upon motion of
<br />Commissioner Plato, seconded by Chairmen Antonini, the following resolution was
<br />adopted by manimoue vote,

<br />WHEREAS, the application of the Planning Commission for an
<br />amendment to the Pleasanton General Plan regarding
<br />the provisions of grade separations and connections
<br />on Interstate Route 680 between Iateraeate Route 580

<br />RESOLVED: to recommend to the City Council that the General Plan
<br />be amended as presented.
<br />The next item on the agenda was the application of Barry L. Nichols, 325 Mavis Dr.,
<br />for a Zoning Permit with Site Plan, Landscape and Architectural Approval, in order
<br />to operate a swimming pool supply business at 5511 Sunol Boulevard, in an I-P
<br />District. Mr. Campbell presented the staff report which stated that the staff felt
<br />this was an appropriate use in this area and recommended approval with several
<br />conditions; a more detailed site plan to be submitted showing fencing, landscaping,
<br />drainage and paving, storage area, if covered, should be shown on plane, vehicular
<br />area to be paved, street improvements could be deferred at this time to be done
<br />at a later date, also the possibility of underground utilities if the Commission
<br />would so choose. After further diecusaion, upon motion of Chairman Antonini,
<br />seconded by Commissioner Garrigan, and carried, it was determined to approve the
<br />above mentioned Zoning Permit subject to the conditions as outlined in the staff
<br />report, with the details to be worked out between the applicant and the staff.
<br />The next item on the agenda was a request of S. V. Builders, Inc., 319 MacArthur
<br />Boulevard, San Leandro, for a one year time extension for UP 65-12, Vintage Hills
<br />directional signs. Mr, Campbell presented the staff report which recommended
<br />approval of the extension. After further diecusaion, upon motion of Co®ieaioner
<br />Garrigan, seconded by Chairman Antonini, and carried, it was determined to approve
<br />the request and grant a one year time extension for the above named request.
<br />Referrals from Alameda County. Adjustment for a building site on a site with no
<br />frontage on a public street. This site is on Alieal Street which is neither a
<br />public nor a private street; but a road which is comprised of various easements.
<br />Staff. recommended denial of this adjustment. The staff was instructed to re-
<br />commend to the County Planning Commission that this application be denied and to
<br />issue no further building permits is this area until such time as it is in better
<br />condition,
