RESOLUTION N0. 656 <br />WHEREAS, the application of Pleasanton Valley Company, 6000 <br />Telegraph Avenue, Oakland, for a Variance from <br />Section 17.705, Ordinance No. 309, in order to <br />allow two additional real estate tract signs of <br />greater than allowable area, to be located at <br />several locations in a C-T, A, and C-C M strict, <br />has come before this Cosmtission. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT <br />RESOLVED: that the above named application be approved <br />subject to the following conditions: <br />(1) Sign area shall not exceed 50 square feet. <br />(2) This Variance shall expire upon adoption of the <br />new Ordinance and these signs shall be modified <br />to conform to the Ordinance requirements within <br />six months of adoption. <br />5 B.b.C. Z-67-5 Z-b/-b anti "L-b/-/ raeasanwu voaacr _.•w•ra••.• <br />The next item on the agenda to be considered was the applications of Pleasanton <br />Valley Company, 6000 Telegraph Avenue, for a Zoning Permit in order to erect <br />three real estate signs in connection with a residential tract development <br />to be located in the vicinity of Sunol Road and Mission Drive in a G-T <br />District, in the vicinity of Santa Rita Road and Trenery Drive in an A <br />District, and in the vicinity of Foothill Road and Bernal Avenue in a C-C <br />District. Mr. Spink presented the staff report which recommended approval <br />subject to stated conditions. After discussion between the Commission and <br />Mr. Frost, representing Pleasanton Valley Company, Mr. Frost withdrew his <br />application Z-67-5 for a sign to be located in the vicinity of Sunol Road <br />and Mission Drive. After further discussion, UPON MOTION OF CObSfISSIONER <br />JOHNSTON, SECONDED BY CarA1ISSI0NER PLATO, AND CARRIED, IT WAS DB'teRMiNED 'r0 <br />APPROVE Z-67-6 and Z-67-7 SUBJECT TO THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS: <br />(a) Conditions of approval for V-67-6. <br />(b) Redesign of the sign to the area established by V-67-6 <br />subject to approval of the Planning Director. <br />4b. UP-67-3 Stoneaon Construction Corporation. <br />Chairman Antonini opened the public hearing on the application of Stone son <br />Construction Corporation, 3150 20th Avenue, San Francisco, for a Use Permit <br />under Section 6.303 to allow a trailer to be used as a temporary tract office, <br />to be located off Foothill Road in Unit 4k1 of the Stonegate Development in <br />an R-1 District. Mr. Spink presented the staff report which recommended <br />approval subject to stated conditions. Mr. Roy Gillette of Stoneaon Con- <br />struction was present in the audience and stated that two to three people <br />would use the trailer. Mr. Gillette further stated that the trailer would <br />be relocated after streets, etc. were completed. Upon motion of Commissioner <br />Garrigan, seconded by Chairman Antonini, and carried, the public hearing was <br />closed.
