UP-67-8. Cith of Pleasanton. Chairman Antonini opened the public hearing on the application of the City of Pleasanton for a Use Permit under Section 6.301, Ordinance No. 309, to allow the Highland Oaks Community Park to be located in the general area bounded by Foothill Road, Route 50, Interstate Route 680, and the future alignment of Los Fositas Boulevard, in an R-1 District. Mr. Spink presented the staff report which recommended approval with conditions. Mr. Patton concurred with the staff report. Upon motion of Commissioner Johnston, seconded by Commissioner Garri- gan, and carried, the public hearing was closed. After further discussion, upon motion of Commissioner Garrigan, seconded by Co®isaioner Plato, the following resolution was adopted by unanimous vote. RESOLUTION N0. 673 WHEREAS, the application of the City of Pleasanton for a Use Permit under Section 6.301, Ordinance No. 309, to allow a Highland Oaks Community Park to be located in the general area bounded by Foothill Road, Route 50, Interstate 680, and the future alignment of Los Positas Blvd., in an R-1 District, has come before this Commission: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: that the above-named application be approved subject to the following conditions: (1) Site Plan Landscape & Architectural Approval. (2) Parking requirements to be determined at the time of Site Plan Landscape & Architectural Approval. (3) A minimum of 20 feet of landscaping shall ba provided on the northern and southern boundaries of the site. (4) Night lighting shall be designed to prevent glare on adjoining properties. (5) Street sidewalk to be designed to meander through the park. (6) Visual penetration from the freeway shall be provided. The applicant to coordinate with the State Division of Highways to provide a com- patible landscape plan with this objective in mind. (7) The natural area shall be modified from its natural state as necessary to provide adequate visual policing. 4e. UP-67-7. Citv of Pleasanton. Mr. Spink presented the staff report which recommended approval with conditions. Upon motion of Chairman Antonini, seconded by Commissioner Garrigan, and carried, the public hearing was closed.
