Cith of Pleasanton. <br />Chairman Antonini opened the public hearing on the application of the City of <br />Pleasanton for a Use Permit under Section 6.301, Ordinance No. 309, to allow <br />the Highland Oaks Community Park to be located in the general area bounded by <br />Foothill Road, Route 50, Interstate Route 680, and the future alignment of <br />Los Fositas Boulevard, in an R-1 District. Mr. Spink presented the staff report <br />which recommended approval with conditions. Mr. Patton concurred with the staff <br />report. Upon motion of Commissioner Johnston, seconded by Commissioner Garri- <br />gan, and carried, the public hearing was closed. After further discussion, upon <br />motion of Commissioner Garrigan, seconded by Co®isaioner Plato, the following <br />resolution was adopted by unanimous vote. <br />RESOLUTION N0. 673 <br />WHEREAS, the application of the City of Pleasanton for a Use Permit <br />under Section 6.301, Ordinance No. 309, to allow a Highland <br />Oaks Community Park to be located in the general area bounded <br />by Foothill Road, Route 50, Interstate 680, and the future <br />alignment of Los Positas Blvd., in an R-1 District, has <br />come before this Commission: <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT <br />RESOLVED: that the above-named application be approved subject to the <br />following conditions: <br />(1) Site Plan Landscape & Architectural Approval. <br />(2) Parking requirements to be determined at the time of Site Plan <br />Landscape & Architectural Approval. <br />(3) A minimum of 20 feet of landscaping shall ba provided on the northern <br />and southern boundaries of the site. <br />(4) Night lighting shall be designed to prevent glare on adjoining <br />properties. <br />(5) Street sidewalk to be designed to meander through the park. <br />(6) Visual penetration from the freeway shall be provided. The applicant <br />to coordinate with the State Division of Highways to provide a com- <br />patible landscape plan with this objective in mind. <br />(7) The natural area shall be modified from its natural state as necessary <br />to provide adequate visual policing. <br />4e. Mr. Spink presented the <br />staff report which recommended approval with conditions. Upon motion of <br />Chairman Antonini, seconded by Commissioner Garrigan, and carried, the public <br />hearing was closed. After further discussion, upon motion of Commissioner <br />Plato, seconded by Commissioner Garrigan, the following resolution was adopted <br />by ~:nanimous vote. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 674 <br />WHEREAS, the application of the City of Pleasanton for a Uae Permit <br />under Section 4.309, Ordinance No. 309, to allow the Kottinger <br />Community Park to be located on the north aide of Kottinger <br />Drive in the vicinity of Pico Avenue in an "A" District, has <br />come before this Commission: <br />P10W, THEREFORE, BE IT <br />RESOLVED: that the above-named application be approved subject to the <br />following conditions. <br />(1) Subject to a General Plan Amendment. <br />(2) Subject to Site Plan, Landscape fi Architectural Approval. <br />(3) Parking proposed subject to review at time of site plan review. <br />(4) Traditional sidewalk to be modified to a meandering walkway when <br />possible. 5-11-67 <br />
