(5) A minimum of 20 feet of landscaping to be provided between any area <br />of activity and adjoining residential properties. <br />(6) Natural landscape to be retained to the maximum extent possible. <br />That the Planning Commission initiate a General Plan Amendment to redesig- <br />nate this area as a community park. <br />9. Referrals from Alameda County. <br />Items referred were: Road Petition 943 - Petion of San Ramon Village Engineers <br />requesting acceptance of "Regional Way" as a County Road. Adjustment V-4103 <br />for construction of a service station and IIae Permit C-1734 to allow a service <br />station on the south side of Amador Valley Boulevard and 300 feet east of the <br />intersection with San Ramon Road. The Commission took no action on these <br />matters. <br />12. Matters for the Information of the Commission. <br />A letter was presented fry the Easter Seal Society pertaining to the elimination <br />of the architectural barriers that impede the progress of the physically handi- <br />capped and aging. The Ca®isaion, in genetal, felt that this concept should be <br />applied in parks and the Civic Center. <br />At this point in the meeting, Mr. Spink informed the Commission that Mr. and Mra. <br />Robert Clauaer, owners of the Green Door, had started work on the front of <br />the building, putting a wood siding and stained glass windows in, without <br />proper permits. Mr. Spink also stated that a stain was to be placed upon the <br />wood aiding. Mra. Clauaer was present in the audience and indicated that <br />the color of the stain would be maple. UPON MOTION OF COMMISSIONER GARRIGAN, <br />SECONDED BY CHAIRMAN ANTONINI, AND CARRIED, IT WAS DETERMINED TO RECOMMEND <br />APPROVAL TO THE STAFF, SUBJECT TO TN6 PAYMENT OF PROPER FEES INVOLVED. <br />There being no further business to come before the Commission, upon motion of <br />Chairman Antonini, seconded by Commissioner Carrigan, and carried, the meeting <br />was adjourned at 9:45 P.M., to meet again on Wednesday, May 17, 1967, at 8:00 P.M. <br />
