Mt. <br />Spink presented the staff report which recommended that Condition No. 2 remain <br />unchanged. Mr. J. Jack Bras, representing the Pirst National Bank, stated that <br />the rear entrance is still unacceptable. After further discussion, UPON MOTION <br />OF COMMISSIONER PLATO, SECONDED BY CHAIRMAN ANTONINI, IT WAS DETERMCNED THAT THE <br />ZONING PERMIT BS AMENDED TO ELIMINATB CONDITION NO. 2, "PLANS TO BE REVISED TO <br />PROVIDE A PUBLIC REAR ENTRANCE." Roll call vote was as follows: AYES: <br />Commissioner Plato, Chaittnan Antonini. NOESS Commissioner Carrigan. <br />ABSTAINED: None. ABSSNTt Commiseionara Arnold and Johnston. <br />At this point, Chairman Antonini went back to the matter of a Thrift Shop adjacent <br />to St. Augustines Church. The City Attorney indicated that under Sac. 6.301, <br />a Conditional Use Permit for a specified time limit would be allowable and that <br />it would not affect the evaluation of the building. Mrs. Arbini stated that no <br />improvements would be made and that the building would be returned to the Church <br />in the same condition as iC was received. The Commission advised the applicant <br />that she moat fill out a Conditional Use Permit and submit same together with <br />a fee of $25.00 prior to ,1uly 3, 1967, in order to appear on the next agenda. <br />Sa. and 8b. Tract 2938 and Z-64-28, Fairlands. <br />The next item on the agenda was Tract 2938, Fairlands, request for Tentative <br />Map Approval for an area easterly of Tassajara Road and South of Route 50, in- <br />cluding modifications to previously approved Planned Unit Development; and Z-64-28, <br />Planned Unit Development, Fairlands, request for amendment to original approval <br />to allow variation in yard requirement and submission of other details of approval <br />in conjunction with approval of Tract 2938. Mr. Spink presented the staff <br />reports on these items. Both reports recosffiended approval with stated condi- <br />tions. Mr. Ted Fairfield was present in the audience representing First Pleas- <br />anton Investors. Dr. Ray Haskell, representing the School District, was present <br />in the audience and discussed the school sites proposed. After further discussion, <br />upon motion of Commissioner Carrigan, seconded by Chairman Antonini, the follow- <br />ing resolution was adopted by unanimous vote: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 685 <br />WHEREAS, the request for Tentative Map approval, Tract 2938, <br />Fairlands, for an area easterly of Tasoajara Road and <br />South of Route 50, including modifications to pre- <br />viously approved Planned Unit Development, has come <br />before this Commission: <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT <br />RESOLVED: that the above named tract be approved in conformance <br />with Exhibit "A" and Exhibit "B"; plus the following <br />conditions: <br />1. Conformance with Exhibit "A". <br />2. Exhibit "B" is approved as an alternate lotting pattern. <br />3. Subject to conditions of the PUD (Z-64-28) as modified. <br />4. Configuration of school sites to be modified per <br />Exhibit "A". <br />5. Possible Cabana Club site to be Created as a separate <br />parcel. Dedication to include a reversion clause <br />should a bona fide Homeowner's Association demonstra- <br />ting adequate financial responsibility be formed and <br />seek to utilize the site for a private Cabana Club. <br />6. That all in-tract easements be granted as puhl.ic service <br />easements with no reference to specific use and tt~oe <br />those easements for storm drain lines 54" and larger be <br />increased in width to 15 feet. <br />7. That the number, size and location of fire hydrants <br />remain subject to change pending completion of a study <br />of this matter by the Fire Chief. <br />8. That the developer provide all the street lighting <br />facilities necessary to adequately light the stzeeBBible <br />within and adjacent to this tract at the lowest p <br />cost to the City and in accordance with the method, <br />City owned or P.G.S. owned, that is commonly in use <br />by the City of Pleasanton at the time of approval of the <br />final map. <br />6-24-67 <br />
