<br />WHERHAS, the application of John A. Comer, 1949 West Winton Avenue,
<br />Nayward, for an amendment to Ordinance No, 30q amending
<br />the district boundaries of the Zoning Map by redesignating
<br />property located at 4160 Stanley Boulevard from the R-1
<br />District to the RG-15 District, has come before this
<br />Commission:
<br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
<br />RESOLVED: the Planning Comission recombend Co the City douncil rezoning
<br />of the subject property from R-1 to RC-15 provided that prior
<br />to the second reading of the Ordinance amending the zoning
<br />map, the applicant will have executed the necessary agree-
<br />ments satiafactorq to the City Attorney for dedication of
<br />right-of-way for the Del Valle Parkway across the subject
<br />property; and that the second reading of the Ordinance shall
<br />be deferred until such time as the Ordinance adopting precise
<br />plan lines is effective.

<br />Chairman Antonini opened the public hearing on the application of Schulte-
<br />Blackwell Development Company, P.O. Box 817, Campbell, for an amendment to
<br />Ordinance No, 309, rezoning approximately 12 acres of property located in the
<br />general area northwesterly of the intersection of the future Los Positas Boulevard
<br />and Interstate Route 680 from the A (Agricultural) District to the R-1 (Single
<br />Family Residence) District. Mr. Spink presented the staff report which recom-
<br />mended approval. Upon motion of Chairman Antonini, seconded by Comisaioner
<br />Arnold, and carried, the public hearing was closed. After further discussion,
<br />upon motion of Commissioner Arnold, seconded by Comissioner Plato, the
<br />following resolution was adopted by unanimous vote.

<br />P.O. Box 817, Campbell, for an amendment to Ordinance No.
<br />309, rezoning approximately 12 acres of property located
<br />in the general area northwesterly of the intersection of
<br />the future Loa Positaa Boulevard and Interstate Route 680
<br />from the A (Agricultural) District to the R-1 (Single
<br />Family Residence) Mstrict, has come before this Commission:
<br />NOW, THEREFORE, BH IT
<br />RESOLVED: that the Planning Com~i,ssion recormnend to the City Council
<br />an amendment to Ordinance No. 309, rezoning the subject
<br />property from A to R-1 in accordance with Hxhibit "A".

<br />Chairman Antonini opened the public hearing on the application of Robert M.
<br />Scruggs, 4056 Walnut Drive, for a Variance from Section 6.500, Ordinance No. 309,
<br />to allow an encroachment into the required rear yard at the above address in
<br />an R-1 District. Mr. Spink presented the staff report which recoe~nded approval.
<br />Applicant was not present in the audience. Upon motion of Chairman Antonini,
<br />seconded by Comissioner Arnold, and carried, the public hearing was closed.
<br />After further discussion, upon motion of Comissioner Plato, seconded by Com-
<br />missioner Arnold, the following resolution was adopted by unanimous vote:

<br />for a Variance fray Section 6.500, Ordinance No. 309,
<br />to allow an encroachment into the required rear yard at
<br />the above address in an R-1 District, has come before
<br />this Commission:
<br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
<br />RESOLVED: that the above named application be approved in conformance
<br />with Exhibit "A".
