That the placement of said sign shall comply with the strict setbacks <br />as shown on the plot plan submitted. <br />2. That the sign shall not exceed 8 feet in height from ground level. <br />3. That the total square footage of said sign shall be 30 square feet. <br />4. That the Zoning Permit shall be granted fora period of 18 months. <br />5. R. Wilson for an extension to Condition b of <br />Zoning PermiC Z-67-28, as approved by the City Council in reference to the <br />Pleasanton Veterinary Clinic, 273 Spring Street. The request was for an <br />extension of five years on Condition b. UPON MOTION OF COMMISSIONER <br />GARRIGAN, SECONDED BY CHAIRMAN ANTONINI, AND CARRIED, IT WAS DETERMINED TO <br />EXTEND THE TIME PERIOD OF CONDITION b TO S YEARS, SUBJECT TO CONDITIONS a <br />and c AS PREVIOUSLY APPROVED, <br />Sa. RZ-67-11, Planning Commission. <br />Chairman Antonini re-opened the public hearing on 87.-67-11, which was con ti need <br />from 9-13, ZO-19, and 11-1-67. <br />ARTICLE 2 - (site, etc., applicable portions). <br />Remained unchanged. <br />ARTICLE 8 - Industrial Districts <br />Remained unchanged. <br />ARTICLE 9 - Q, Rock, Sand and Gravel District <br />Mr. Castro requested that this article be continued to the next study meeting, <br />as a study at staff level was being conducted. <br />ARTICLE 11 - Study District. <br />Section 11.102, page 92. Omit from end of paragraph the phrase "unless a <br />new Ordinance continuing the S District etc." <br />ARTICLE 15 - Off-Street Parking Facilities <br />Section 15.102.3;. Mr. Castro questioned the possibility of inserting a <br />square footage requirement. There was considerable discussion. Mr. George <br />Allen stated the importance of making any changes to the Ordinance at the <br />study session. The section was changed as follows: "...maximum shift or 1 <br />mace for each 300 square feet of gross floor area." <br />ARTICLE 17 - Signs <br />Section 17.1O5.a - changed as follows: <br />"... Business signs shall be attached to a building except that one free- <br />standing sign not exceeding 50 square feet or 12 feet in height shall be <br />permitted on a site having at least three acres occupied by uses to which <br />the signs direct attention. On the site of a service station all signs shall <br />be attached to a building, except that one free-standing sign not exceeding <br />36 square feet shall have direct or diffused illumination, and shall not <br />exceed 12 feet in height." <br />Section 17.108 - Temporary Subdivision Signs. <br />Mr. Castro reported he was reviewing other ordinances, and would report on <br />this section at a later date. <br />ARTICLE II <br />Section 2.111.6, Landscaping of Parking Facilities <br />_2_ 11-15-67 <br />
