MINUTE S <br />of <br />Planning Commission <br />Pleasanton, California <br />November 15, 1967 <br />The regularly scheduled meeting of the Planning Commission was called to order <br />at 8:05 P. M. Wednesday, November 15, 1967, by Chairman Antonini. <br />ROLL CALL showed the following: <br />Present: Commissioner Garrigan <br />Gibbs <br />Chairman Antonini <br />Secretary Castro <br />Absent: Commissioner Arnold <br />Plato <br />Upon motion of Commissioner Garrigan, seconded by Commissioner Gibbs, and <br />carried, the minutes of November 8, 1967, were approved as presented. <br />4. There were two additions to the agenda, which were considered as 6e and 6f. <br />Sb, V-67-50 - Amador Valley Investors <br />Chairman Antonini opened the public hearing on the application of Amador Valley <br />Investors, 582 Market Street, San Francisco, for a Variance to Section 17.705 <br />to permit the construction of three tract signs to exceed the allowed sign <br />area in the following manner: <br />a. Southwest corner of Santa Rita Road and Black Avenue - 98 sq. ft. <br />b. Santa Rita Road opposite West Las Positas Boulevard - 130 sq. ft. <br />c. Tassajara Road in rear of Lots 35 and 44, Tract 2964 - 130 sq. ft. <br />Upon motion of Commissioner Garrigan, seconded by Chairmaa Antonini, and carrina, <br />the public hearing was closed. Upon motion of Commissioner Garrigan, secnndAd <br />by Chairman Antonini, the following resolution was adopted by unanim~~,s vote: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 728 <br />WHEREAS, the application of Amador Valley Investors, 582 Market <br />Street, San Francisco, for a Variance to Section 17.705 <br />_ to permit the construction of three tract signs to <br />exceed the allowed sign area in the following manner: <br />1. Tassajara Road in rear of Lots 35 and 44, Tract <br />2964 - 130 sq. ft. <br />has come before this Commission: <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT <br />RESOLVED: that the above application be approved as submitted. <br />6a, 6b, 6c - Amador Valley Investors - Z-67-74 Z-a/-/~, ~-o/-io. <br />UPON MOTION OF COMMISSIONER GARRIGAN, SECONDED BY CHAIRMAN ANTONINI, AND <br />CARRIED, IT WAS DECIDED TO APPROVE THE FOLLOWING ZONING PERMITS 67ITH SIGNS <br />LOCATED AS FOLLOWS: Z-67-74, OFF TRACT SIGN LOCATED ON THE WEST SIDE OF <br />SANTA RITA ROAD AT INTERSECTION OF WEST LAS POSITAS BOULEVARD: Z-67-75, <br />OFF-TRACT SIGN TO BE LOCATED ON THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF THE INTERSECTION <br />OF SANTA RITA ROAD AND BLACK AVENUE; Z-67-76, ON-TRACT SIGN TO BE LOCATED <br />IN REAR OF LOTS 35 AND 44, TRACT 2964 WITH THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS: <br />1. That the placement of said signs shall comply with the street setbacks <br />as shown on the plot plans submitted. <br />2. That all signs shall not exceed 17 feet in height. <br />3. That the total square footage per sign shall be as follows: <br />1. Location No. 1 - 128 square feet. <br />2. Location No. 2 and 3 - 200 square feet. <br />11-15-67 <br />
