precisely described on tentative map 2905, filed in the offices of the Planning
<br />Department. Mr. Castro explained the purpose of the application was to review
<br />the final zoning for compliance with the tentative map, which Mr. Castro
<br />stated did comply. Upon motion of Chairman Antonini, seconded by Commissioner
<br />Carrigan, the public hearing was closed. Upon motion of Commissioner Garrian,
<br />seconded by Chairman Antonini, the following Resolution was adopted by unani-
<br />mous vote:

<br />WHEREAS, the application of MacKay Homes, 830 Menlo Avenue,
<br />Menlo Park, for an amendment to Ordinance No. 309 to
<br />rezone from Agricultural District to single family
<br />and multiple family districts (RG-15) that property
<br />located west of Hopyard Road and north of the Arroyo
<br />Del Valle, containing 120.214+ acres, said property
<br />described on tentative map 2905, has come before
<br />this Commission,
<br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
<br />RESOLVED: that the above application be recownended to the
<br />City Council for approval, from the "A" (Agricul-
<br />tural) District to R-1 and RG-15 Districts as
<br />described on the area map submitted, labeled Exhibit A.

<br />Chairman Antonini opened the public hearing on the application of D & V Builders,
<br />6000 Telegraph Avenue, Oakland, for an amendment to Ordinance No. 309 to rezone
<br />from Agricultural District to R-1, RG-15 and RG-25 Districts, those properties
<br />described in Tentative Map 9P3004. Said map filed in the City's Planning
<br />Department. Mr. Castro stated the rezoning proposal is in compliance with
<br />tentative map 3004 filed in the City Planning office. After further dis-
<br />cussion, upon motion of Commissioner Arnold, seconded by Commtseiouer Carrigan,
<br />the following Resolution was adopted by unanimous vote:

<br />Telegraph Avenue, Oakland, for an amendment to
<br />Ordinance No. 309 to rezone from Agricultural

<br />in the City's Planning Department, has come before
<br />this Commission,
<br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
<br />RESOLVED: that the Commission hereby recommends to the
<br />City Council that the above application be
<br />approved from the A (Agricultural) District
<br />to R-1, RG-15 and RG-25 Districts as described
<br />on the area map submitted labeled Exhibit "A".

<br />6a. Z-68-15. Fremont SavinQS & Loan.
<br />Mr. Castro asked that the above matter be continued to a special meeting of
<br />April 17, 1968, at the request of the applicant for extra time to prepare
<br />plans.
<br />6b.) Z-68-17 Elinor K Anderson
<br />Application of Elinor Anderson, 4379 Clovewood Lane, for a Zoning Permit
<br />to permit an increase of four children (total of ten) in a day care center
<br />conducted at 4379 Clovewood Lane; request is also for another assistant to help
<br />care for the increased number of children. It was noted that permission for
<br />six children was previously granted by the Planning Commission to the date
<br />of August 23, 1968. Mr. Castro explained the purpose of the Zoning Permit,
<br />and stated the Department's opinion that the increase in children was_satis-
<br />factory, but they were opposed to the hiring of additional help to care fir
<br />the children. Mrs. Anderson stated the arrangement would not be a partnership,
<br />but merely additional help for her. Mrs. Anderson stated she had a 2 sto•-p
<br />home and one daughter of her own, and that the work was her livelihood. Mr.
<br />Castro explained to the Commission that neighbors had not been notified as
