Bras, 4377 1st Street, for a Zoning Permit with <br />Site Plan, Architectural and Landscape Approval to construct seven four-plex <br />apartment units located on Fairiande Drive. Mr. Castro presented the proposed <br />landscaping plena and site plans for the apartments, noting that the parking <br />which was previously objectionable to the Commission had not been revised on <br />the plans. Regarding adequate space for fire equipment to maneuver, Mr. <br />Castro stated the problem had been reviewed by staff and it was determined <br />that fire equipment could reach all areas. Mr. Bras stated that concerning <br />the parking redesign, he would work with the City for a satisfactory plan. <br />UPON MOTION OF CHAIRMAN ANTONINI, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER GARRIGAN, AND <br />CARRIED, TT WAS DETERMINED TIiAT ZONING PERMIT Z-68-23 BE APPROVED SUBJECT <br />TO THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS: <br />1. That the Permit is granted for the property as described in the applica- <br />tion and any attachments thereto, and as shown on the plot plan, landscape <br />plan and elevation plans submitted, labeled Exhibit A. <br />2. Permanent driveway easements be recorded and a copy of the recordation be <br />submitted to the City. <br />3. That all uncovered parking places shall be striped and bumper stopped where <br />adjacent to landscaped areas. <br />4. That all landscaped areas within the driveways and parking areas be pro- <br />tected by a 4" redwood header. <br />S. That all curb openings shall be subject to the approval of the Public Works <br />Director. <br />6. That a 6 foot redwood screen fence be placed along the entire rear property <br />line and the existing berm be landscaped. <br />7. That a street tree be provided along the curb planting strip, one per <br />4-ilex unit. <br />8. The developer shall provide and improve an area set aside for children's <br />recreational purposes. <br />9. Tamalnais <br />Chairman Antonini opened the public hearing on the applications of Morrison <br />Homes, 6000 Telegraph Avenue, Oakland, for Variances to allow the construction <br />of a 6 foot screen property fence to encroach 5 feet into the required front <br />yard setback on lots known as 9, 10, 22, 23, 33, 34, 41 and 42 of Tract 2904, <br />Pleasanton Valley. The Commission stated no objections to the Variances, <br />and upon motion of Commissioner Carrigan, seconded by Chairman Antonini, and <br />carried, the public hearing was closed. Upon motion of Commissioner Carrigan, <br />seconded by Chairman Antonini, the following Resolution was adopted by unanimous <br />vote: <br />3. <br />5-8-68 <br />
