Development of Portion of Arroyo Del Valle Channel Mr. Ted Fairfield explained that after a thorough review with the Flood Control District concerning the service road that will be installed for the up-keep of the Arroyo Del Valle Channel within Tract 2905, it was decided that a 20 foot easement road would be necessary. He advised the Commission that the precise location of the road was not known at this time, but Mr. Fairfield stressed the fact that said road will be designed to allow the maximum number of trees to remain. After further discussion, upon motion of Commissioner Garrigan, seconded by Chairman Antonini, the following Resolution was adopted by unanimous vote: RESOLUTION N0. 790 WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the proposal of the Parks and Recreation Commission with respect to development of that portion of the Arroyo Del Valle channel within the boundaries of Tentative Map ~k2905, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: that the Planning Commission hereby supports the findings of the Parks and Recreation Commission on their Resolution ik68-9, dated April 25, 1968. 8b,) MS-68-3, First Pleasanton Investors Application of First Pleasanton Investors, 582 Market Street, San Francisco, for a minor subdivision for a multiple apartment dwelling located on the west side of Fairlands Drive north of West Las Positas in an RG-25 District. Proposed Tentative Landscaping 6c Development Plans for Parks Svstem, Tract 3004 Mr. Castro presented a map to the Commission delineating the tentative develop- ment plans, adding that the Parks and Recreation Director both approved the plans, with proposed conditions. Mr. Frost indicated the total park system will be built in two phases in conjunction with the first two units. The possibility of installing more park benches was discussed including drinkin fountains. Mr. Frost indicated the color of the luminaires would be green.
