UPON MOTION OF <br />CHAIRMAN ANTONINI, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER PLATO, AND CAR.FIED, THE REQUEST <br />FORA TIME EXTENSION OF ONE YEAR WAS APPROVED FOR THE BALANCE OF THE TENTATIS'E <br />MAP REMAINING IN TRACT 2938. <br />7b.) Development of Portion of Arroyo Del Valle Channel <br />Mr. Ted Fairfield explained that after a thorough review with the Flood <br />Control District concerning the service road that will be installed for the <br />up-keep of the Arroyo Del Valle Channel within Tract 2905, it was decided <br />that a 20 foot easement road would be necessary. He advised the Commission <br />that the precise location of the road was not known at this time, but Mr. <br />Fairfield stressed the fact that said road will be designed to allow the <br />maximum number of trees to remain. After further discussion, upon motion of <br />Commissioner Garrigan, seconded by Chairman Antonini, the following Resolution <br />was adopted by unanimous vote: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 790 <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the proposal <br />of the Parks and Recreation Commission with respect <br />to development of that portion of the Arroyo Del <br />Valle channel within the boundaries of Tentative <br />Map ~k2905, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT <br />RESOLVED: that the Planning Commission hereby supports the <br />findings of the Parks and Recreation Commission <br />on their Resolution ik68-9, dated April 25, 1968. <br />8b,) MS-68-3, First Pleasanton Investors <br />Application of First Pleasanton Investors, 582 Market Street, San Francisco, <br />for a minor subdivision for a multiple apartment dwelling located on the <br />west side of Fairlands Drive north of West Las Positas in an RG-25 District. <br />This matter was submitted for informational purposes only. No action was <br />taken. <br />11. REFERRALS FROM RECREATION AND PARK COMMISSION <br />a.) Proposed Tentative Landscaping 6c Development Plans for Parks Svstem, <br />Tract 3004 <br />Mr. Castro presented a map to the Commission delineating the tentative develop- <br />ment plans, adding that the Parks and Recreation Director both approved the <br />plans, with proposed conditions. Mr. Frost indicated the total park system <br />will be built in two phases in conjunction with the first two units. The <br />possibility of installing more park benches was discussed including drinkin <br />fountains. Mr. Frost indicated the color of the luminaires would be green. <br />The final plans will be reviewed by the Planning Department.
